In Reverence of Autumn

Listen to poem:
In Reverence of Autumn David J Walker I see the traces of A stream Flowing through the canopy of downed leaves That have changed colors In the gray places of the cold ground now Ruled by Fall It is complete It is all In natures cycle A reclamation of life We mistakenly believed Belonged to us It is complete It is the call That has settled in a Mist holding the note In reverence of Autumns Firm but gentle hand
