The Race Car Driver
The race car driver drove to fast
He crashed hard but didn't last
His funeral was sad
It made others mad
When his car showed up wearing a mask...

Premium Member A Race Car Sandwich
I'm going to eat a race car sandwich.

It will run down my gullet, hard and fast.

It will clean out my tummy, and drive past my gas.

It will clean me out, right?

I will eat a race car sandwich at the next red light....

Premium Member Her Future Dreams
I will become a conqueror when I grow up the young girl said.
With her lovely freckled face, fresh emerald eyes, and hair of red.
Or a race car driver
Or a scuba diver
Maybe even a professional football player or a flower bed....

Masturbation
i was alone
i didn't want
to be so

i closed
my eyes
and there

she was
i smiled
so did she

i hardly
needed to
touch myself

my heart
felt as if
a race car

then i
had to
pull into

the
pit
stop

my
dip
stick

showed
i was
low

on
oil...

Premium Member I Am Invincible
I am invincible
I cannot be killed
I have had car wreck after car wreck
It’s not like I am trying

But when I was younger
I was a race car driver
On the highway, the freeway,
And once on gravel.

Nobody is this lucky.
But I am.
I am invincible.
I cannot be killed....

Premium Member Santa Uses a Sleigh
Santa uses a sleigh
A race car!
A sled!
A tambourine!

How do you use a tambourine?
He drummed out a beat.
We mean to get around
To travel

Oh, that’s easy.
He has a limousine.
We are in ready-to-punch-each-other mode now
Just then Santa flies by under a helium balloon...

Snow
My fingertips touched the glistening snow
A smile formed that I could show
The cold sensation climbed up my veins
Like a race car in the fast lane
A simple shiver spread swiftly down my spine
In an on-going line
My toes crunched inside my shoes
and wiggled with a sensation that was almost blue...

My Little Pee Wee
Pee Wee is my little sister
A nickname given to her
When she was little
She would pee on me

I would play a game with her
Where this little piggy went to the market
And went wee, wee, wee
Thus her nick name was born

I would push her in her stroller
Pretended it was a race car
Then my mother would say
It’s time to change Pee Wee

Oh Pee Wee, you mean the world to me...

All I Want
All I really, really want...
is a platinum gold star
and a shiny race car
and a couple of bags full of cash
and a great big house where I can splash
in the pool with a swim up bar
with a couple of zillion friends who are
a life of laughs that never ends
and faith that's strong and never bends
and a man who can make me believe
in love and hope and sweet night dreams
and that's about it....

Not Enough Life Insurance
My life is technically half over
Wouldn't do any good to complain
So here's a list of things I want to try
Before I go insane...

Skydive
Bungy Jump
Go on a Safari
Wake Board
Rock Climb
Drive a race car
Swim with the dolphins
Camp in the Grand Canyon
Do 360's in a jet

There's nothing wrong with dreaming
I'd probably pee my pants
I can handle that part
I just can't find good insurance!...

Premium Member Spending Time With Grandchildren
When you retire you can attend clown college.
Yes, I agree. I would like that!
Or be a race car driver, my other buddy says.
I laugh, picturing myself smooshed into a race car.
How about a ballerina? You would be a great ballerina.
And without dance lessons of any kind.
Yes, I could do that, I agree.
Spending the day with a four and five-year-old
is a great reminder that there are possibility thinkers....

Premium Member In Memoriam: Cousin Bruce

Beneath this green sod, lies
my Cousin Bruce.
It's true, his mother called him
'Silly Goose.'
Oh, that Nordic DNA, those
gorgeous blue eyes, and sense
of humor.
A skier and a Porsche race car
driver, he grew up to be.
Always filled with humor and
a genuine love for humanity.
Leukemia took his life at forty.
He serves God now, in grateful
and glowing, angelic glory.

My Life
My Life

My mind is like a dump truck,
With a full load.
The heavier the weight,
The slower it goes.

My heart is like a race car,
Speeding around the track.
Making turns at too high of a speed,
Leaving little time to react.

My emotions are like a time bomb,
Ticking steadily by.
So I’m leaving for vacation,
And that’s the reason why.

So please don’t try to find me,
Let me have my peace.
It’s my way of calming,
The inner beast....

Ok, I used to have a bit of a lead foot long ago
When I got my share of speeding tickets
Maybe I should have been a race car driver, I don’t know
I never ended up in the thickets
But, maybe it’s best I’m a writer today
I can speed with my words all I want to
On roads of sentences, I find my way
While reaching for the sky so blue
I have since learned to drive on slow
I’ve learned from mistakes, life is not a car show

Blades and Ice
Gliding like an eagle,
the rush of clean air,
wonder of wonders
on two knife blades,
cheeks frosted with glee,
breath iced and cold,
hands loosening but not
letting go,
around the oval like a race car
just practicing laps,
getting the feel,
gaining confidence,
bright smile showing grace and skill,
faster and out of breath,
gulping frozen air,
slowing the pace to finish,
silver blades blurring,
heart pulsing,
a smile that catches the moment...
a girl on ice....

Premium Member I Am the Ultimate Race Car
I take off with a lurch, my headlights blazing.
If I don’t win, well….I can’t lose.
I do not even look to my right or my left.
If someone is catching up, it makes me mad.

I catch up with other cars, and pass them.
I pass everything on the road.
I see something ahead, and it is a challenge.
No matter how far away, I have to get up there and be first.

This may kill me, but it is worth it.
I am the ultimate race car, and cannot lose.
And cannot even be passed.
I rev my engines....
