In Memoriam: Cousin Bruce

Beneath this green sod, lies
my Cousin Bruce.
It's true, his mother called him
'Silly Goose.'
Oh, that Nordic DNA, those
gorgeous blue eyes, and sense
of humor.
A skier and a Porsche race car
driver, he grew up to be.
Always filled with humor and
a genuine love for humanity.
Leukemia took his life at forty.
He serves God now, in grateful
and glowing, angelic glory.

Ah~ Bruce was his Mother's pride and joy. Silly Goose was her way of saying how much she loved him. He was so well dressed by her, honestly~one would think he were royalty. Not a ragamuffin, he. It was hard for me as I baby sat him when Bruce was a toddler. He had an angelic glow about him. He died 2 days after turning 40.. I could write a lengthy poem about Bruce. We all still miss him. He was a great volleyball star on the beaches of southern CA, too. Panagiota
