Captain Quark
Captain Quark,
had a lark,
Driving his poor friends nuts,
But Captain Quark,
his mind so dark,
was nothing but a putz....

SUBATOMIC

There is charm in nuclear space
Within the proton, it is a quark
No tiny lights to view the show
Or to see how the particles flow
As inside the atom, it is so dark
Its state may show another face...

Myriads of Combinations
Myriads of dazzling ,3-dimensional ,quark combinations
found flickering , blinkering ,connecting, tangoing together
                   forming eternal light magic

PARK
The mosquitoes bite the heart of the park
There is something like the amazing sark
The wonder of the universe is from string and quark
Let's strive our best in the dark

Variety Is the Spice of Life
We made a simple particle,
it soon began to fade,
We gave it spin and mass and charge,
much longer now it stayed.

We gave it flavors strange and charm,
and soon we had quark.
Neutrino here, a photon there,
enough to fill the dark....

Universe
UNIVERSE

In our Universe,
Far, far away,
Once were aliens,
Or were they angels?
When gods were men,
And men were as gods...
Until the last quark
Fades away, like stars,
Ineffable love,
Perpetual cosmos,
Close but far,
Intangible to feel,
Is invisible real?
Impossible dreams,
We are generations,
Too young....
Is the Universe
so very far?...

Dance of Genesis
In the beginning, atoms and photons made a Covenant
"We will always dance, even if with complexity,"
And so it is to this day: from newborn infant
Of human or animal, insect or mineral, electron or selectron
Everything is dancing, inside out
But humans are too busy about the conclusion
No dance rushes to the end, it's about enjoying the steps along the way...

Unseeking Seeker's Reminder About God
I
Where God is not
Doesn't exist, no jot
Or tittel in vain
Atom, quark, neutrino - explain
How we began, begot!

II
I wrote of times
Our rage, hate, crimes
Against each other, friends -
Shock my soul ... brains:
"No hope!" No change?

III
Yes God hides away
Oft on worst day
We experience; no effort
Brings Him, His comfort
Pets urge smiles, re-play...

Stone of Destiny
The Coronation Stone –
 artefact of biblical Jacob.
The magic powers of this stone
 will enhance your throne.

The slab was broken and repaired,
but will the crack on the kingdom be entailed.
Did the powers left the stone,
when they broke it with the scorn.

Was it power of the Ark
 or the undiscovered quark
in that oblong block of sandstone –
 relic past....

COPLA 74 INVOCATION: This Bad Guy World

Is the quark a zero sum dot
Likewise the table to the mountain:
Try dot the spot

So is the gogga to Hottentot
And your toddler to the dragon:
Earth mere sun spot

Solar system lost in galaxy
Universe in Multiverses:
All gone to pot

Whose is the sum of this jelly
All strung up in stringy ellipses:
Might turn(ed) to rot

Premium Member And Once Upon
Listen to poem:
and once upon a galaxy
there was this one little quark star
that wanted nothing more
than shoot through vast skies
at the speed of light

so on and on she drew across the heavens
her many arcs of ephemeral wonder
and no one dared to stop her

she danced across the universe
leaving her trail everywhere she went
until she had no more to give
and fizzled out into infinity

My Phaser Is Unphased
Captain Quark to Mr. Sprock;
Ground control to Major Tom,
Your phaser is unphased,
Now if that doesn't phase you,
I'd be quite amazed.

You can't stun with a dead gun,
You couldn't even phase,
a jar of Mayonaisse

Klingons you can't haze,
With a still-born phase,
The instruction manual says,
You'll likely be dead in 2 days.
And the Romulans, for sure,
Will be knocking on your door

So beam me up, Scotty toilet paper,
And get me a working rapier....

"Qu'il départage avec équité avant leurs transformations,
ceux qui arriveront aux cieux avec les Justifiés, de ceux
qui iront en bas avec les Justiciés, car la Balance pèse les

Rondelet: Eyes from afar

Eyes from afar
Frequent visitors from the Dark
Eyes from afar
Come spy on life under our star
This your experiment or lark
Wonder brains criss-cross mad as quark
Eyes from afar

Listen to poem:
Quantum Entanglement
David J Walker

Einstein light your pipe and muss your hair
While I sit and listen again
In English or German as the heir of the
Phenomenon of quantum superposition

Tell me how 2,000 Atoms
Exist in Two Places
at Once
Tell me I can occupy
A different place in every second
		And every space in time

How is it that once lived
each second of each moment is
Mine for all time and eternity in the
Quark of quantum entanglement...

Guilt
Hearing subversive, oft-hand remark,
Callously spreading rumor on a lark.
Silhouette of angst o'er mind parks.
Deceitful soul's vast refuge a bulwark,
keeping mind's sentient eye in the dark,
Still short-sighted vision veils a quark,
But to dry, subliminal tinder won't hark.
Fueled consciences' flint strikes spark,
Fanning winds o'er tender psyche arc.
Singeing flame peels soul's, dense bark;
Contrasting light to mind painfully stark
