Thirsty blue sparrows
In pursuit of sunny touch
Of your silken leaves

lids war the endless pursuit
of oxygen dispelled by
the gulp of grounds and stirred cream
...caffeine withdrawal

Unbounded journey
Pursuit of enlightenment
Clarity found
Dark mind illuminated
Finally, comprehension.
Stepping over the line,
in pursuit of a song
Could a melody so right
—ever be so wrong
(Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania: July, 2019)
The subconscious process of pursuit
of the lifechanging climax
Endless, exhausting and deceptive
waiting on terminal hospitality ward
Minnie loves to skinny dip
She jumps in the lake with a flip
Pete hot in pursuit
He jumps in too
But hit a rock and broke his hip
I like to give pursuit.
Can't make it too easy for you.
Catch me if you can.

One’s quest for bliss must never obstruct another's pursuit of happiness!

Time is not ours to run
we run out of a time
overhearing sometimes
timeless legends
of similar kind
in pursuit of onece own time
When sleep's afoot
roaming the hills
Will pillows deign pursuit...
Yet when dreams linger
waking's a beggar
knocking at your door
shadow
shimmies up stairs
catches my eye
and ceasing its pursuit
stops so I can snap its soul
coiled and still
There once was a lady name Karen
Delighted her womb was barren
Menopause is a treat
Except for the heat
And pursuit of a creep named Baron
Americans have the right to life…
liberty … and the pursuit of happiness…
What about the right to be loved
Your cute
Pursuit
Nice tush
I blush
Want date?
No mate
Show ring …
Wedding
You sure
Show door!

is there a reason
your tiny wings flutter by
in eager pursuit
tasting here and tasting there
like a sprite in summer's dream
Running toward my yesterdays,
the future in pursuit
The loosest ends when left undone
—the past my guilt recruits

Silly Dilly in pursuit of school
Always late which was not very cool
Two legs in his pants
Broke out in a dance
Oh, how that zipper was so damn cruel
Politics; is the pursuit of power by the talentless,
To the detriment of the dispossessed majority,
By pandering to the greed of the controlling minority.
Time of sun sleeping
Dew kisses the branch of eve
Smiling blue dyes pen
Wave of the body in moon

Prankster impulsive and brazenly,
put his foot out tripping too hastily,
Arnie in pursuit,
fool messing his suit,
last words heard; "hasta la vista baby!"

A life spent in pursuit of vain glory and only of self interest is one our Lord's trust has betrayed!

Love is blissful to the damned
But destructive to the happy
For they are still in pursuit
Of what they already have
But for the damned
It’s all they have
Form:
Footprints on golden sand
Ripple mark daydream
euphoric blind crossing another nonplus
blue-sky wish fulfilment in pursuit
tantalising infinite quest so faraway
