Premium Member A Gut-Punch Question

I took my junker to the body shop
My belly poking out of my tank top

Intake guy looked up from his laptop
Sayin' ~ 'Your car or you, Pop?!'

Punch Drunk (Motto)

Life’s punches - roll with ‘em or get bowled over - your choice
Either way, you still have to pick yourself up

An ice storm can be really deadly Drive with care and try not to get edgy Just glide along What could go wrong Death could await and that's not funny

Sucker Punch

while i wasn't looking
you were hooking
you caught me
and it taught me to be
on my guard
you hit me hard
now i can't munch
because of this fist
of a
SUCKER PUNCH

He should never have stepped in the ring

Because he had no talent to bring

Even though he battled

His brain just got rattled

And now he can't remember a thing

Smashed
            And on the rocks
         Shaken and stirred

                To a paranoid
                   Amygdaloid
            Control deferred

Makita Xvi: Pornographic Sucker Punch

The beat that composes
Summer’s zealous speech
Employed my bones with jubilees
A quaint taste laced
with pornographic oaths
Of which I abstain from forsaking
As in her caress I descend

Smack, Punch, Kick

*smack* *punch* *kick*
Behind closed doors is what you miss
On the outside, it all seems fine
On the inside, it all declines
But hide or else
You might hear yells
*smack* *punch* *kick

Practice Punch At Lunch

Smith was out to lunch
or maybe it might be brunch
had to practice punch

we should realize
what Smith did was compromise
had not been too wise

Putin with a crew
bad things he will do to you
he had a loose crew

Sucker Punch

Death is at my bedroom door
It doesn’t have to knock
doesn’t have to show its face,
I can feel its presence...
Should I open and embrace eternity,
Or for a few more breaths suffer mortality?

A Punch Up

All this talk of brothers and sisters!
It’s been a punch up from the beginning!

What religion are you - Oh!
Another punch up!

Where do you come from – Oh!
Another punch up!

How much money is in your pocket - Oh!
A punch up from the beginning till the end of time!

"schuylkill Punch"

Schuylkill Punch

The best thing I recall about Philly,
(And you might think it all quite silly,)
Is one could obtain a freezing flavored drink,
Straight from the spigot in the kitchen sink.

We’d have a glass with breakfast, supper and lunch.
We all enjoyed “Schuylkill River Punch.”

Small Poem Big Punch

Butterfly love messages
Better to fly through romantic passages

Shelter you in tender verse
Pillow passions, warm and gooey
Let yourself be immersed

Time standing still substance
Supercharged feelings filling buckets
So large soul enriching sustenance
So succulent, most excellent

Premium Member Punch-Drunk Heart

Oh, what a tangled web!
A man finds himself
caught in a love triangle.

Poor fella
I wouldn't wanna be him!

The two women with whom
he's madly in love
are giving him
an ultimatum migraine

Which one to choose?
What's his heart to do?
Decisions, decisions...

Five Finger Death Punch

Treading along the avenues of iniquity
The downbeat of mollifying choruses alleviate my ears
Ambivalent logic scours my cerebellum
A frown composed of disdain surfaces
Whilst I seek a hero amongst such strange clouds
I covet to taste of the superlative pleasures ‘tis Mother Earth
Though I am left to contemplate when next my happenings

Premium Member When Cupid Hit the Punch - TRI

Cupid went on a tear
that day he hit the punch.
His shots went here and there.
He sure was out to lunch.

That day he hit the punch
and ventured to the zoo
to where his arrows flew.

His shots went here and there
and hit a hare and sloth
thus twitterpating both.

He sure was out to lunch,
and I would like to know
which cubs are fast or slow.
