   And now the sun shines 
      down on our verdant earth 
   Where are the lovers of yesterday? 
   Have they faded into shadow?
Or are they ghosts haunting the polling booths?
  The election is coming 
The vast majority of Americans 
will decide the fate of our land 
Shall hate rule the day?
Looks like it might!
