Seriously Snow-

Strong snow seems smartly;
Slushy snow ploughs seriously;
Soft snow sleighs swimmingly;

Sorrow; ploughs,

                         Joy; plants,

                                          Happiness; harvests!

Priya Saha- a Political Parasite

For futile complaint
Priya Saha just a news
Flunky animal
Earthworm ploughs only in rain
Rest whole season suffers pain
Trump card the bidder
Enjoys the gossiping lien

Bike Ride

I like
my bike.

Riding,
gliding,

I view
sky blue

and see
grand tree.

Morn yields
corn fields -

Pasture
rapture;

Farm ploughs;
calm cows

lazing . . .
grazing

on grass
gone past.

Slow roam.
Go home.

Underscoring

A distraught moon
takes a misstep
and goes behind the hill
to take a holy bath.

Disconnects
with a trespasser
and sends to night,
a bouquet of stars with muffled prayers.

Shades of lies haunt, in flames
of faith. A suicide bomber ploughs
through a playground, throwing the bits
of human pieces on nets.

Cemetery

Tells a haunting darkness
To the graves & the boughs,
To relate mystic tales
To a night-wind that ploughs.

Tales which carry secrets
Now buried in the yard,
In tombs & mausoleums
Where shadows stand as guard.

Lest the dead tell mortals
Of such chronicles old,
And share this deep wisdom
Measured in terms of gold.

We Always Survives

Mom and I liked to go on country drives, she drove fast and I feared for our lives; we got lost most of the time, in lush scenery sublime; Oh, don't worry ! 'Cause we always survives ! Down long winding roads many farms we passed, but because they were a blur I looked fast; we sped by brown mooing cows, and startled farmers on ploughs; later, I exclaimed . . . Mom that was a blast !

Mind Sets

Scarcely had dawn lit the town…
Nighties hugged tight around…
Onlookers at an overnight transformation…
Winter wonderland’s aspiration!

People light the fire and consider…
Let others go outside and take risks.
Only those truly dedicated few
Understand and act on loving neighbours, through
Getting everything prepared as they go…
Heavy clothing to protect from snow, they
Shovel roadways with their ploughs…

Changes

The lark swilrs in flight
Leaves felt force on gold -
Among family again

                           ii

Green rolling down hills
Butterflies dancing in breeze
New heart finds old love

                            iii

The wind ploughs the hills
Swallows swim to meet the sun -
The sky sows rain seeds

                             iv

Lightning throws fast ropes
Around thunders snorting fire -
Green grow grasses now

Winter Night Driving

we did prepare for seasonal changes
flurries, fluttering flakes, melded snow, ice
but roads present unforeseen challenges
black ice sends vehicles across a slice
of pavement destroying the hidden mice
blue lights pass, police, ploughs, protectorates
finding the lost, clearing the way, like plates
hard, dark, covered with salt and sand, and when
night breaks, on starry skies, silhouette gates
distract – horrid potholes jump up and then…

Visual

Cheer collage craft
Dream drives draft

Watch weird ways
Sign swift say

Think tough thoughts
Play primes plot

Words work wine
Lift loud lines

Sight scans see
Mind moves me

Tact throws tease
Plight ploughs peace

Juice just joy
Time treats toy

Daze drills drool
Sense sight spool

Pick plus points
Jest jumps joint

Poise plus praise
Rush rich race

Cricket Season and the English Weather

Knock the snow off the wicket
Its time to play cricket
With cucumber sarnys and tea

Oh no now here we go
Now here comes the snow
What are the cricket Gods doing to me?

A scarf I will take
The match I will make
Tuck me vest in me pants just you see.

They'll not stop me going
     never mind if its snowing
I've waited all season so see

The ball bowled down the green
almost to fast to be seen
As it ploughs in a drift - all stop for tea.

Fate

Winter never surrenders,
It ploughs through the soul
And freezes the people.
For all time its fierce fangs
Inject bitter venom
Into its victims.
Some fall prey of a sudden
Trapped beneath the surface
Of the ice. Others fall asleep,
Unable to fight any longer.
Still some brave the bite
For the sake of others
In order to help them
Safely return to spring.
Spring endures,
But winter conquers,
Such is life they say,
Though they wish
It differently.

Fun Haiku

Short fun haiku

God didn`t like snakes
So he told lies about me
Man loath and fears me

I`m a crippled tree
In the middle of a wheat field
Doing nothing

I`m the big rock
The farmer ploughs around me
One day he bitterly says.

It was the tallest tree
In the petrified forest
Lightning struck in half

I`m the smallest tree
In the woods of trepidation
I starve to stunt growth

At the restaurant
I`m the last the waiters see
Serving stops at three

Gwenith Ddu a Prose of Welsh Origin

Black Wheat

A flash ; and crash; booming
thundering of ear drums broken.

Burning feet ; enveloping heat ;
winds of razors shredding skin.

Fields of scorch; distant fusion torch;
Ploughs melt bleached bones scatter.

Earth seared;  parts human appeared;
lasered ,vast hunger reigns.

A million Suns ; burning as one;
Steamed oceans vanish, rivers to.

Lotts wife repeated; all food depleated;

                      Its the time ! The
                 Birth of , Black Wheat

Change Is Nature

Life has been trailed by legs many:
White, light, fat, dark, as can be imagined
Leaving stale prints that ploughs a path.
Path new legs feel obliged to pass.

These paths differ with colour, roof and sound
Which many ply without caring, why?
Safe it feels always moving with the crowd
But it’s sad to be dud after a long ride.

People are scared of paths without prints
Since in the head only can it be seen.
Paving a new way always seem strange
But it would make nature create a chain
