Piteous As Piety
Conception of a bloodstained cross
Can be perceived a threshold loss,
As piteous as piety
When rage of age destroys its gloss
And ends a dismal dynasty....

The drone of birds in war offensive
hear the drone of war
pity the birds, amassing
way out there someplace,
they'll be back in droves to drone
the piteous drum of war...

What Some Pharisees Overhead
All that we had encountered
Of God, Fear kowtowed to.
Yet this, for sinner's relief
This, piteous, soaked through
Are we, here and now, told is
That face,the very same
Behind all that skied displeasure;
A vengefulness to name!...

Tree Sorrow
Earth's trees are pruned; men came and left
upon their branches burning scars;
now their arms are piteous stubs
no longer reaching for the stars.
My heart is wounded watching them,
so public is their grief and loss,
their shame exposed, yet mute they stand:
I think of Jesus on the cross.

Premium Member Time and Tide
If I should die, think only this of me
That one small corner of the web
Nurses all of my poetry
My Muse's tide is on the ebb
Her waning strength sadly faded
No reason now for any rhyme
My talents fully spent and jaded
No one can hold back marching time
So please forgive my puny tries
Which deserve but piteous sighs...

Love Is Everywhere
Love is everywhere

Where the air Romes
Near the water falls
Tear of meeting cry
Need to go far in love
By the wing of wool
 Feather wearing with
The leather of skin by
Leaving everything
Smelling the perfume of
Your feelings in this piteous
Moment when love is everywhere..... Love you

An Idiot
The man is an idiot
yes I fell in love with an idiot
An absolute idiot and
I fell for the bait…
The idiot man
was my fate.
Am gutted, am completely shattered
my heart is broke, torn and splattered
I had faith, I had a plan
Did not I deserve an intelligent man?

My friend did say and quite so piteous
“Don’t worry love all men are idiots!”...

Conception kept secret from all was her will
Piteous youth just unlucky naught imbecile
On the dismal threshold of despair and heartaches
Bloodstained rugrat born into poverty and shame till
Suckling infant in her arms maternal love suddenly awakes

Mommy
Late last night,
A voice she heard,
Calling out her name.
Waking her
From a sweet, deep, sleep.
Rupturing her dreams.
That voice…
So urgent,
So mysterious…
So shrill.
So piteous,
So young.
Wailing loudly,
Into the night.
Screaming her name.
Mommy!
Mommy!
She follows the voice,
Comforts the voice,
And the demons,
And the monsters are gone....

Defending Green Snake
It wasn’t a green snake
That tried God’s enterprise to foil
Nor one of greenish make
That had man pushed into piteous toil.

The sun-loving green wouldn’t anything spoil,
As often it’s thinking of how to funnily coil,
This presuming to playfully act out on your very soil
While your odd animosities you oil
And not once, not twice, unnecessarily boil....

The threshold of my life is dark and bleak,
Dismal dreams haunt me,peace is all I seek.

Not Gonna Be Canonized Any Time Soon-Full Stop-
I'd rather have piteous hands
Than blood stained ones
It may be a dismal conception
But through that threshold stands
No turning point in either direction.

The piteous are often the poor
While blood stained will throttle for more.
It's a dismal world upon reflection
So heaven's conception was to soften the poor
But man set the bar for that thresholds redemption....

Piteous the Legion
Sweep then across the flowing sea of time
to stand unseen amid a stinking horde
and there behold the rich who turn away
or groveling poor that vaguely beckon—
surveying misery's grimy bounds of each.

Wretched feeble ones of withered limb
and clouded eye—ladies in their rags—
ignored by ones who might have paused and bent
but never did, to burden beggars' bowls,
nudging them from darkness into light....

Gentle Love and Care
The gentlest show of love and care
I wouldn't advise one to dare
For remaining the All - Time Rare:
What the giver receives not fair
Behind his back dismissed like fool
Or thought keeper of Piteous Rules;
Not infrequently a mere tool
Of the one enjoying King's Stool
All True Lovers have to time bide
While they are struck on every side
Or try to hurt emotions hide
As the others do the long ride....

Don’t pity yourself as much anymore.
No more being self-piteous.
Because there’s someone always waiting around
At every corner of your life.

Don’t feel sad as much anymore.
No more feeling sadness.
Because there’s other times always waiting around
At every door there’s more.

Don’t remain crestfallen as much anymore.
No more painful frowns.
Because there’s hopes always waiting around
At every road of your life....

The Rebel
Dank, cold, unperturbed indifference,
Untouchable, yet touching all,
Unresolved in meaning,
Still creating each and every fall,
Every whim and leaning.

Touché pas! A cry of weary hate,
And will not accept a helping hand,
‘Till death! Brazen adverse in face of fate,
And alone in piteous stand…

Lone wolf we cry, thy fate is nigh,
Yet stands he still resisting,
That love should die, that only tie,
In error still persisting…...

Mom
I feel like touching a bark of tree
In your garden in the spring.
I’d like to settle on your knee -
Mom, hear my piteous crying!

Recall your dreams about your child.
I heard you say, “No!” What did you mean?
Give up the mad idea – it's so wild.
I’d also like to love and dream...

Mom, let me see the sun and the moon,
Let me listen to your beating heart.
Everything I want is to see you soon.
Hear my silent scream. Let me start......

Longings
Pounding heart, swiftly reminiscing in music of love,

Crave for touch, as of when well carved face lingered,

Glistening eyes, with thoughts of how they belonged,

Novelty of unshed tears, keeps mood in chaos,

Wallowing darkness, for timeless piteous conscience,

Silently seeking free from misery, never letting off,

Paving way, for a dawn of unborn series of reflection,

Toward the light of untold stories, for thorough impact....

Premium Member Merlot Was Overflowing
With trembling fingers I poured Merlot wine
Overflowing the rim of his chalice
Salty drops on my lips, the taste of brine
from tears spilled as he spoke words of malice
His offensive, "Cheers," I chose to decline
the sting of mockery, cold and callous
    Piteous, I lingered without relief
Flooded with torment, I'm drowning in grief

Two Birds
Two birds flying out of tracks
Soaring stones chipped in cracks

The sky poured down its shroud of tear
While the whole world drowned in fear

Piteous teardrops poured like rain
Distressed spirits cried in pain

The world mourned for the dark of night
Poor souls gone out of sight

Who would forget the number eleven
When whole world mourned even the heaven?

May such birds shun the bounce of time
And peace will reign in a world, sublime

Movers and Shakers
Echoes of their squalling,
finally interferes with my slumber.

Opening my eyes,
to see the pensive faces of the ladened.

And my ears,
to the ear-splitting shrill of the piteous.

Showing me their greatest fears,
Slowing becoming reality before their eyes.

I have seen for myself,
brothers smothering one another.

As a new era seeks recognition,
Iniquity impetuously taking its position.

Tardily becoming the order of the day.
Shortly to be a disease we cannot contain....

Premium Member That Dismal Day

What a dire and heartbreaking, dark, dismal day
when you crossed that threshold at heaven's doorway;
our painful conception of death's bloodstained sword
that punctured our piteous hearts with dismay...
now healed with acceptance of you with our Lord.
