The Duck In the Pharmacy
Once there was a pharmacist in Brazil
Visited by a duck standing very still
He shook his head
When the duck said,
"Give me some lip gloss and put it on my bill"...

Pharmacy visit.
Loud women over talk each other
On TV

A channel I have never seen
You do not need to tweet everything you think!
One yells, loudly.

Being an American
I laugh....

At the Pharmacy
When I saw him enter,
an illiterate, I surmised
(one you may despise)

But he spoke some words
about the drug he wanted…

He changed my mind.
Pharm argued no further.

We learnt a lesson....

Premium Member Living With Nature
The North American People
Lived in a natural way.
Their wastes were all compostables;
Would return to the earth one day.

Fish fertilizer fed their crops,
No additives in their food.
Nature was pharmacy, grocer and home.
And living was healthy and good....

Premium Member Food In a Pharmacy
So many unhealthy foods
Sixteen kinds of candy
Three varieties of Slim Jim,
Eleven kinds of potato chips
Here I sit at a pharmacy, amazed
Intrigued that they are promoting this stuff
Then I notice the pop machine.
And the twenty-six kinds of sugary gum.
Wow!...

A Small Argument
a little argument in Portugal

at the pharmacy
a man tried to get in front of me
I would have none of it
We had words.
But something he said
Stuck in my mind;
We don´t like you (foreigners)
We only tolerate you.
The people at the pharmacy
Fell silent.
I had the sense they agreed with him....

The Pharmacy Question
She said at the pharmacy counter
My husbands Viagra needs renewed
She asked the man if they sold it there
He told her that they certainly do

She asked if he had ever used it himself
He told her he had and was a big fan
She asked,"Can you get it over the counter?"
He said, "If I take a lot I probably can!"...

Neighborhood
The neighborhood

At last, I found the bairro of my dreams
so quiet, for once I could hear the swallow sing
A grocery, a cafe and a pharmacy, what more does an old man need.
Tall trees protected by the North Westerly, here autumnal
leaves fall in peace.
Alas, I shall not live here, but go there on my bike
when I want to listen to stillness...

Story of a Dead Life
Continue the story
deep are the wounds
from a pharmacy no cure
no autonomy able to treat
tears flowing unparalleled
even the flow of the stream
the blood soaks the ground
no match by any flood
beset the plants
crops are grown of spilling tears
from the blood flow out of violence
this is a story of the lives
of the dead.

Premium Member I Have To Look Younger By Tomorrow
I have to look younger by tomorrow
my hair is being dyed right now
I plan to stop at a pharmacy
will buy some make up
have not worn any for years
not sure I can make myself up any more
plan to do a good job trying
thinking of lipstick colors now
pink?
too seventies
red?
forties
orange?
why not? she is my favorite color
she ought to look good on me...

Let Me Spacify
Human spaceflight is an epoch making thing
And space tourism – a new normal amazing
Effect of spaceflight on the human body
Has been a supreme subject for everybody
Space habitat is my curiosity extreme
As my cosmonauts study umpteen
Bioastronautics and space pharmacy
Will soon be a regular supremacy
Space architecture being latest command
Let’s fulfil the universal demand..!...

Premium Member I Like Getting Up Early
I like getting up insanely early
Why people ask me?
Because I love going to Wal-Mart when there are no shoppers.
It is Covid.
Wal-Mart is locked.

No problem.
I go to the bakery.
A sign says “closed; cannot afford to pay hourly wage.”

Okay.
What about a pharmacy?
A sign on the door says
“Computers down. Come by later.”

Okay, maybe getting up early is not working out today....

Worn Out Welcome
You come around all the time
you beg and plead, cheat and steal
oh please and thank yous abound
until you get what you want
then you're off.

Never do we see you again
until you're in need
your face only shows
when your pharmacy runs low
your customers are children
you think you've done no wrong
yet around you come again
wanting more.
I have none left to give
you've worn out your welcome....

Righteousness of Aloe
In the middle of the night,
while wife was at work Accidentally
burned the back of hand
I could't go to the pharmacy or the hospital
getting sick
skin turned red
ugly and not even a flower
hiding among the flowers
I saw aloe
cut a leaf
applied to the wound
the moment it touched
she felt so cool
smiling
in the desert under the hot sun
to stay alive with a smile
How cold must it have in it?...

Minnis Downhome Pharmacy Part Ii
I have great news about the two women who were shot.
I was afraid that Alexia and Janet would die but they did not.
They're out of the hospital and are recovering at their homes.
Many people are in their corners, they are not alone.
It's great to know that they have so many friends.
I'm very thankful that their lives didn't end.

(Dedicated to Alexia Wilson and Janet Clift who were shot at Minnis Downhome Pharmacy on May 23, 2013.)...

Healing
There is no healing
Without meaning
And no meaning
Without wholeness
No wholeness
Without holiness
No holiness
Without relatedness
In-depth relatedness
With all there has been
With all there is
With all there is
about to be.

Healing
Is the inward journey
Beyong the pysical body
Healing Aacall
To the internal pharmacy
A call for more identity
A call for more integrity
A call for more inner intimacy
A call for more innerharmony....

The Obsessed With Supremacy
The obsessed with supremacy
Always quits with immediacy:
To whom “Challenge me not” is a policy,
Unaware of its sad deficiency.

Everything wears its intricacy,
Even Justice of Wide Advocacy,
The Sick’s Drug-Providing Pharmacy,
Kitchen with a sought delicacy
And Righteousness linked with Adequacy,
Death seeking often our intimacy
But sure floating an Autocracy!

Now, tell me why Seekers of Supremacy
Shall smell Death’s Sincere Mercy....

The Home
Echoes of the woman's tea-leaf warnings
bounce in my head...
I stare at the spilled apple sauce
all over my bed...
I watch the flickering TV in the convalescent home...
My pharmacy number is in my phone...
I dream in German but can't utter a word...
My memories blurred... My speech slurred...
Remember when we were blissful and unwed?
Why did you leave? Was it something I said?
My mind is not what it used to be...
I'm a rotting shell of stupidity......
