Little Paperwhite
You rise and gaze Little Paperwhite;
Persisting for many a year;
No family, adopted, guarding yucca and jonquils
You bring down a lonely tear.
Another spring, unnoticed;
You retreat to your Mother bulb;
And weep a while, then sleep;
To dream of a Paperwhite club.
Go a little further down the road
Just a few more steps in travel mode
For you may find what you need
A cure for what ails you as decreed
Sometimes the journey seems so long
And to continue may seem so wrong
But persisting in your journey is the way

Why does disaster
Come oh, so much faster
Than happenings flowing with joy?
A plane crash or fire
With death does conspire
To enter our lives and destroy.
Just hearing such madness
Imbues us with sadness
No matter if we are involved;
But while we’re existing
This pattern’s persisting,
A puzzle not easily solved.

An epitome of beauty,
An emblem of peace,

immotile sperms
blind soldiers obedient
polishing blood of contaminated boots
splashed from the innocent hearts
workers brain washed
making weapons in the factory of death
incomplete metamorphosis
carboniferous labour of casts
persisting ancient eastern atrocity
we are starving in this sand storm
bayonets grenades tanks and a bombs
large heads and powerful jaws
of the ugly unwanted wars

I shouldn’t be here
I am removed in everything,
see within the seed
of unknown origin
I am like a cherry blossom
blooming out of content,
a blood red orchid
persisting in fields
of white petals
after the burst into flower,
I regather the petals,
and see nothing like self
I am,
a wildflower
of unknown origin
flourishing out of context.
and in the pagoda
a lotus smiles
It has been a century and a half since emancipation.
However, stubbornly persisting is racial discrimination.
Despite many anti-discrimination laws today,
people are still breaking and ignoring them anyway.
Racists from all over are continuing to disobey.
The situation is just too perplexing to me.

I poured myself into your onyx eyes scene;
wanted you to see my soul, and its story.
Like you, brother whale, I endure life’s tough schemes;
while navigating in seas, sunlit glory.
No medal beams on your marvelous bold breast;
yet, like me, you bear the brunt of human fault.
Your faith and strength get you through the toughest tests;
we kindred souls, persisting, can conquer all.
Dank, cold, unperturbed indifference,
Untouchable, yet touching all,
Unresolved in meaning,
Still creating each and every fall,
Every whim and leaning.
Touché pas! A cry of weary hate,
And will not accept a helping hand,
‘Till death! Brazen adverse in face of fate,
And alone in piteous stand…
Lone wolf we cry, thy fate is nigh,
Yet stands he still resisting,
That love should die, that only tie,

I had never been able to attribute
A face to my soulmate
My guiding star to a better being and self
With whom I can be myself
Awaken my inner child
Be vulnerable and wild
Without fear of retribution or judgement
Twin flames ignited by a cosmic bond
That transcends human comprehension or sense
A platonic connection between two best friends
Kindred spirits fated to true love
Persisting through the ravages of time
Into a pure spiritual plane
Here I sat for hours
Hoping to be in powered
I write
Ever so slight
I dream with great imagination
On the boarder of frustration
To speculate, oh maybe the well is dry
To much for the eye
Into the still of the hour
Here in the tower
Of my mind
Persisting on a note
Or a quote
To much time in my head
Has brought me to the confines of my bed
Oh but rest no, not this evening
Should I stop with this needing?

I was focused on the chess board
Eileen is an unbeatable opponent
I could not tell her anything
About my feeling for her

Chess is the game of life
My life game
A male was standing around our table
With a persisting smile
His eyes were solidified around Eileen
As I tried to move
My bishop
To a check mate
Eileen asked me if we can
Postpone the game
She has a neck pain
She left and vanished with our table host.
Form:
There is this subtle, lingering feeling
of lack, wherein our heart feels incomplete,
with consciousness contraction persisting,
far cry from our vibrancy bliss replete,
as we observe our joyfulness deplete,
until we choose to reject ownership
of ego spawned thoughts of oneupmanship,
shifting attention into staid silence,
head and heart aligned, with pulse of oneness,
reclaiming thus our childlike innocence.
