they called her a tart and an ugly old cow,
but now she's the queen they all curtsy and bow.
LOL, posted too late for Tania's clerihew contest
Struggling to breathe, in a dark world of mud.
Watching death drip slow, from parted skin.
Cut from a knife, now buried in blood.
The face of betrayal now rejoices in.

Once again, I apologize.
In a trip they would regret,
they sailed on the Mignonette.
Because their diet was so light,
they worked up an appetite,
and amidst the pitch and yaw,
they ate Richard Parker raw.
My soul and rain are one
lost in despair
like an empty cold street
made of cut stone
neither ever escapes
its solitaire
languishing in darkness
both are alone!
