Notes About The Poem

I was sad to read of the death of David Graham who passed away recently at the age of 99. He voiced the characters Parker, Brains, Gordon Tracey and Kyrano in the cult children's tv programme Thunderbirds. I couldnt resist writing a poem using the name Parker and using  blunderbirds hopefully speaks for itself. 10/10/24

No Strings Attached

A Blunderbirds fan Knows E Parker Had christened his yappy pup Harker Neighbours caused a riot Cos it’s never was quiet With hindsight it's name should be Barker

Used to love Thunderbirds… never watched the live action version… cos Thunderbirds without strings isn’t Thunderbirds. I only found out around seven or eight years ago that my uncle made Lady Penelope’s pink Rolls Royce (he’s a remote control whizz… alas my family dispersed many moons ago). Apparently Gerry Anderson (himself) wanted to sign him up for a lot more work but he inexplicably declined. Will never ever know why ;-( Oh… enjoyed your Limerick ;-)

I had to stop laughing before I could write one word of a comment. I've absolutely no clue who this is all about, but enjoyed the video and the name wasn't changed to expose the guilty.
