MUD
water
mixed with dirt
in early childhood
on my knees happily
I formed mud pies with my hand
“the outdoors was my first kitchen”
Nowhere can you find
A beauty more defined
The wide open outdoors
Under foot, under toe
Raw beauty does grow
Everywhere you go, beauty bestowed.
Your actions spoke,
Louder than words,
Your actions shoved,
Me outdoors.
I don’t want,
You anymore
Because your actions,
Spoke louder than words.
the weight of the world
on her shoulders ~
the other children
playing outdoors
and skipping rope
like every other day

A worrying sound
rain at party
outdoors...
a comforting sound
pattering rain
on the roof...
Jubilan blissful sound
falling rain
over field
sown... !
Dad, your retirement home pick,
Serene, with soft ocean breezes,
A porch to be outdoors,
Perfectly matched your calm personality.
Empty chair? I see you.

The window seems to show outdoors so nice,
Forever keeping wilderness at bay.
The floating seeds assail the crystal pane,
They try and bring us back, but no, we stay!
So too much is enough, do I think?
Though I never get too much of pink,
in an outdoors type of loo
where there is too much of poo,
well, too much is enough of THAT stink!
Kissin’ ’n’ buzzin’
by Michael R. Burch
for Beth
Kissin’ ’n’ buzzin’
the bees rise
in a dizzy circle of two.
Oh, when I’m with you,
I feel like kissin’ ’n’ buzzin’ too.
cobweb suspension
of October’s dangling leaves;
acorns scattering
as squirrels and chipmunks spat
in season’s amphitheater

Bite Size Poem No 22
*rub a dub dub*

Bath time is fun,
wrinkled small fingers
why is it slippery?
*OUTDOORS*
*
Fresh rain-droplets
white dandelions
Why is the sky-lit blue?

Go find me
a homeless man
with a golden suntan
Oh, sure
He lives just down the block
from the tall blond whore
whose only love is the great outdoors
Oh magnificent rock towers/Over me up above/Past the sky and beyond/God is not even here/Figured he couldn't make it/This majestic rock stops all/Precedes what was before/Exceeds what will be...
A cute nudist her name was Lorna
Loved sex in the flora and fauna
She’d get down on her knees
Neath the bushes and trees
as Lorna's an outdoors performer!

Nothing to say
but that’s ok
Watching too much
political yuk…
Time to step outdoors
get in tune with nature
Take in a session
of my state legislature
A flighty young lady from Torbay
Got seen having sex in a doorway
She blushed bright scarlet red
Said I like it in bed
But this is just part of our foreplay!
12th April 2016
Paralyzing fear cages him in;
Perennially trained outdoors - his jealous eyes
Roaming about free - strange faces
Oh, how he wishes he could be...
One of those faces!
105 degrees, California
the cat turns to stone
outdoors, I choose not to roam
outstretched, coconut juice to refresh

The
days
shorten,
nature starts
to sit out winter
and
bird's
migrate-
winging off
to a warmer clime,
the
cold
weather
tempers the
photosynthesis
as
life
outdoors
shutters down-
closed for business.
In a market outdoors one day, Pam
was caught pilfering using a pram.
Fast away that lass flew
on the back of a ewe.
One might say she was then "on the lamb!"
For Brian Strand's All Yours (Jun 27) Poetry Contest
outdoors, the wind blows
inside, a fireplace, glows
presents, stacked in rows

Rhyming Senrryu
I thought I’d have to leave my favored spot
and go inside this warm and humid day.
My pleas for respite must have been perceived,
for Nature sent a lilting, soothing breeze,
enabling me to have more time outdoors.
Rain falls down
watch it drip as it comes
rushing down to
meet its death on the blacktop
dripping
making life a misery
don't want to go outdoors
I am so warm
sigh
rain falls down
pouring on my head
As I rush to class
There was an old dude lived in Syracuse
Went naked outdoors without an excuse
Got sent off to the looney bin,
Joining both his kith and his kin
Far as I know, he was never let loose.

Body Soap
I’m training the liquid body soap I use to
make the least effort keeping me
clean to
distinguish who
isn’t and who is
clingy,
in manner a
cloth or
a doily should be worn on
the head when outdoors.
