Once bitten twice shy
That does not explain
How I bleed on the floor
The grip of the jaw
Felt safe once
Ahh I reminisce......

The Lollipop
When the lollipop danced around
She had a smile and not a frown
Until she was once bitten
And then she became smitten
With feelings of love
From candy spirits from above...

Once Bitten
Gazing happily into this mirrors glass
The purple streak, she left upon my thigh
Her love last night; breast aflame as she slid
Soft kisses, across my lips, swollen; fire and ice..
Meta rushing through these veins her scarlet beauty....

Premium Member Once Bitten Twice Shy!
There once was a lion so dread
His trainer must keep him well fed
For if this bad lion
Got hungry for Brian
Old Brian might just end up dead!

Ole Leo the lion acclaimed
Like to play the “I’m so sweet” game
Slow Brian was lulled
And his arm it was culled
Now, the zoo’s out a lion it seems!...

Premium Member The Last One
As I look at you lovely one
With the slight blush from the sun

The touch of gold is the magic
That draws many to taste of

The lusious fruit
That could be tragic

If once bitten find
That the other side

Is smitten with a place
That is hidden

The other side is brown,
Soft, off scented, rotten

The last peach why
Did this have to happen...

The Blue Syndrome
A little of you each day brings sweat and nausea,
Once bitten twice shy I lust deeply for you,
But you flow to flout my very existence,
Seduced to quiver I live only for you.

Lips touch and you turn red to blue in primers,
Don't worry it is kinky for first timers,
Gladly I would lick beads of perspiration,
And hold your soul to ransom with perfection....

Once Bitten
Something happens, causes stressin’;
Maybe it will teach a lesson.
Caution is the surest guide
To safeguard what you fear inside.

If you let down your defenses,
Possibly, some wrong commences;
Then you’ll question your intention –
Why you risked your gut’s prevention.

Hopefully, the lesson learned
Makes the point for all concerned.
Here’s an adage to apply –
Once you’re bitten, twice you’re shy....

~~~~~ Relationship Ready ? ~~~~~ Do I want this or do I not? I'm content with what I've got. A big change scares me a lot. Am I ready or am I not? Life alone wasn't sought but I have it, like it or not. Still I'm happy with my lot. So am I ready? probably not. In a web, I feel caught but I like him, like him a lot. But am I ready? I think not. Once bitten, twice shy. That I got.
Once Bitten, Twice Shy
Once bitten, twice shy,
You are vigilant;
You become cautious,
Like a shameful plant.
You are now fearful,
As you feel the pain;
You're careful about
Doing it again.
When one rejects you
And hurts you inside;
You are reluctant
To swallow your pride.
You'll never fall from
Grace a second time;
Like refraining from
Committing a crime.
When you are injured
Beneath the blue sky;
You will be on guard,
Once bitten, twice shy....
The Apple Bite
Once bitten twice shy both hid
conscious of their nudity, a lesson
there was no going back now
shorn of their innocence they knew,
Greed made them their own master
and they both ran for cover
Lilith got lost in their success
she couldn’t hold Adam for long,
Charmed by the she devil feline
the snake seduced couple for evil
cursed to crawl kicked from Eden
the first woman lost her control,
While Eve evolved and gave birth
Lilith the she devil fermented sin!...
Once Bitten
And suddenly you wonder why
I’m "once bitten twice shy"
when putting all my faith in guys
I’m vulnerable I guess
I sense your animosity;
it tends to gravitate to me
I don’t know why you’re mad at ME
I didn’t make this mess!
I just grew tired of your lies
and clinging to your alibis
our love was sure to go awry
when putting to the test
I’ve tried to find the good in you
and believe me I have wanted to
there’s nothing else that I can do
but say I tried my best....
