Relationship Ready

Do I want this
or do I not?
I'm content
with what I've got.

A big change
scares me a lot.
Am I ready
or am I not?

Life alone
wasn't sought
but I have it,
like it or not.

Still I'm happy
with my lot.
So am I ready?
probably not.

In a web,
I feel caught
but I like him,
like him a lot.

But am I ready?
I think not.
Once bitten, twice shy.
That I got.
