ON THE CONTRARY PART TWO

            If there is love
          There is no revenge
          If there is humanity
          there is no extermination

Life is Life

When My Beautiful One left me,
everyone close to me thought
my world would fall apart,
On the contrary, to me,
it was a new start

Old Age

Imagination never diminishes with age;

     on the contrary,

the loss of memory only enhances

the thoughts of what usta be...

Gluttony Tony 2k11

Stomach grawling, lusting mouth frothing above.
Much gluttonousness no matter the mood.
Gluttony Tony hungers not for love;
Though on the contrary indeed loves food.

I Am Not Holier

I am not holier than the mighty men lying in the mortuary,
Yet you gave me the grace to sweetly sing in your sanctuary.
Your arms around me are mightier than any army or armory.
If not for your love, oh Lord, it would have been on the contrary.

Life's Philosophy

It's nice to fine a photo
From when we were together
When the body was still ideal
Now it's out of shape.

Not always that which looks bad is really bad
On the contrary it is not always
That which looks good is really good
You look beyond the meaning to it.

Shadow and Light

There is no shadow of light
because the shadow only stupefy..
 light, on the contrary amazes...
The clear only clarifies!
shadow of shadow only
when there is some light...
In the light, there is no secret,
 all is in sight...
But it is in the shadow that
  the mystery dwells... !

Poems For Fun - Shame Or Fame

Nobody ask anybody
which one is much more deserted
and much drier,

A deserted and dry
			island
			desert
			heart,
I'm certain
the answer by a great number of people
will be the same
if some cannot guess it at all
they don't need to think
that is a big shame,
on the contrary,
it will bring them
a great fame :)

When He Lies Down

Rotting thoughts,
Decaying with a vile stench-
In the corners of his cranium,
He sees,
It means null to win,
On the contrary sir,
You must re-enter society some day,
Wills thrown aside,
He masks himself from all that is rational,
He must ration the air in his lungs,
It quells the blood seeping from every orifice,
When he lies down.

Life's Maze

Each line you see
is where a teardrop fell.
Left it's footprints on my face.

Am I any wiser?
Is my IQ any higher?
What have I learned from my mistakes?
With each experience of heartaches
I've learned acceptance and endurance.

The road of life
is written upon my face.
Does not represent my age.
On the contrary,
it's life's maze.

Echo from the Past

The poetic image is not an echo of the past. On the contrary: through the brilliance of any image, the distant past resounds with echoes. – Gaston Bachelard If memories invade souls and minds, and mirrors reflect perception, it must follow that whispers reach into our psyche, replaying aural collages that echo of distant past.

Dignity

There was existence,
without space.
I was afraid of my unborn child.

Inheriting the stammer
of history
I could not think of any brand abuse.

On the contrary, fumes
throw you off the road.
Full moon rising on the cleft.

I was, as I am, never being
to any threat of drowning
in contradictions.

A dignity in withdrawl
and coming back after sunset –
to walk in night, alone.

Grin Now Or Smile Later

Do you fall victim to the temporaries?
Can’t wait, need it now, or on the contrary,
Do you choose a later time to shine?
Burning your fire so yo light will blind
Not just twinkle and settle for a blink,
But inable others to see, while trying to think,
How did you do it, and are you blessed?
Choices and sacrifices are on the test?
Don’t wear white to life dressed as a waiter,
Because we can grin now or we can smile later…

On the Contrary

(a tribute to Yevgeny Yevtushenko)

In haste
I read your envy for the upteenth time
And imagine
I could have been the boy
You were not
Whom you wanted to be
I suppose I had the characters
Of the boy you never could become
While I was a boy
Everyone lives his life
Differently
But then
Trouble is
Like you
I keep falling in and out of love
I failed to become
The boy who lived somewhere
In your wish
On the contrary

Reminiscence

It’s been a while
Yet it remains so dear
It’s been some time
Yet its memory lingers so near

I was there
I am there
I will always be

Its beauty never ceases
Through the best or worst times it breaches
Finding its way through the past
To the present
To the future
It’s haunting? No, on the contrary, it’s what keeps me going
knowing

I have been there
I am there
I will be there…

The beauty of a memory…

Seeking

Too much hope- on the contrary, there could never be enough:
    because life holds me captive to these heartbeats;
the ones that gently sigh "I need this"

Yes- everything depends on you

Here I am waiting patiently, for my next breath
because it is you,
         that I am seeking . .
to ease this sweet ache hidden deep inside of me

Don'T Be Mistaken

I am going to write a poem about who the h cares
You think I care?
Nope
On the contrary
I don't care if the sky comes down and hit ya
I don't care if you should chance it and die
No matter s what you do
It means nothing to me
It matters not
Don't think that I care
Or you will be sadly mistaken
Couldn't care less
Anyway leave me alone
And don't bug me
Don't come near
And don't come far
Get the h away
Never know when to get a freaking message!

Just a Feeling

I’m not dumb
I’m not unaware
I am numb
I don’t care

I don’t want company
I’m lonely
on the contrary
phone me

I’m not black and white
I’m space and snow
I’m low at a height
No place to go

All or nothing
I’m all nothing
It’s awful knowing
I’m all unknowing

Do or do not make sense
understand the sentence
am I suspense or dense
what’s the difference

This sums up how I feel
everyday I’m alive
dumb with no skill
very far from alive

Pandora Skeletal Secret Keys

No if in fact truth be told

On the contrary

Not only am i not only drowning

I am floating aboard a bubble

Whilst simultaneously both airing
and cleaning out my laundry

And don't forget as i am still
a serving politician

Say and throw whatever you
wish but mudd don't stick

As mudd is thicker than water

When it comes to independent
inquests resided over by

The keeper of the secret skeletal
key's locked inside pandoras closet
box or cupboards

Unpossible

The quiet brings the dark alive
    Inside where the unpossible thrive
Another stage of evolution has occurred
Hard to fit this into a word
    Voices are slurred
    Thoughts and visions still blurred
Through the window and out the door
    A clarity like none before
    I'm in the drivers seat
Myself I will have to re-meet
    Introduction, probably not necessary
    Oh! on the contrary
A new man was found inside
    NO LONGER WILL I HIDE!
