so many Martha's we see
                                not enough Mary's ..sadly

Inspired by Carrie's recnt poem CLUTTER

Wonderful inspiration, Brian. A good lesson in this thought provoking write. We need to step back from our rushing around and remember what is truly important. Love, Robin

Thank you for the mention, Brian. I agree....it seems "busy, busy" is the mode of the day....we sometimes don't take the time to breathe in and relish what really is important. I often have a bit of "Martha" in myself...discovering the pleasure of poetry has helped me look at things in a more appreciative way. ~ Carrie

Yeah but we have to be well rounded. I have always favored Mary who sat at Jesus feet. Nicely done. Keep writing. Sara
