True Belief
Yesterday came silently
The Muses languished
Obligated they parade
waiting for their day
Night time dissipates true belief...

Needle On Our Couch
Needle on Our Couch

Sat on sharp needle on our couch,
And did feel obligated to say ouch;
Many cheers;
Moore beers;
Are accusing me of being a grouch.

New Road
Obligated we,
Pray dearly in a trainroad
Made of a new brand.
In a room without entrance,
A caress does satisfy
Should spit the tears you swallow.

(Actually this is a Bussokusekika according to Wikipedia)...

Pushing Impossible
It might seem impossible
for the government to change
But the truth is their obligated
by their services arranged

When it's you who are heddy
for their service darranged
For their honor t'ward living
in awkward gone draing

It's you who can change!...

Windows
Not by any trite window
Tensed, framing worry
Its oft serene onlooker;
Life's; through Memory.

Accordingly is brought up
The clear distinction
Twixt today's world, all feel more
Obligated to
And that brighter faced, breezed through;
With heart's free action....

Premium Member Irritating Like a Tsetse Fly
She tried to outguess me. Thought she knew me.
She was an irritant like a tsetse fly.
I ran from her.
Glad I only see her every five years.
Finally realized I am not obligated to attend class reunions.
With a roomful of people I do not recognize
And have nothing in common with except for former locale....

I Belong To Me
no mom
no dad
no grandma
no grandpa
no brother
no sister
no one obligated
to give a s--t
about me

what did i do wrong
where did they go
where did i go

they don't live in my world
they left a long time ago
no one to tell me
how did i come to be
and why
me

empty
with no past
i left it behind
i left them behind
i now belong to me...

Talking About Life
Talking about life.

Not about how beautiful it is
or how blessed we are,
not about how crafty it is,
in jamming its cruel knife.

Simply talking about life.

Not about what a masterstroke it is
or how amazingly it is decimated,
not about our love or spite.

Just talking about life.

Should i be obligated
or bring about my own knife?

Mud Puddle

Has life handed you a kidney stone, Old Timer?
Does the world treat you like a dead gnat in it's oatmeal?
Some days, do you feel like a mud puddle in an ocean?
Do you sense that you are as insignificant
as a bee fart in a bouquet of roses?
Well listen up Bunkie,
and remember,
the only person
you are obligated to convince
of your greatness
is you...

Anonymity
Are you obligated
To retain
The verses you write,
Or do you systematically
Release
What no longer can survive
Unnamed,
As they mark the trail
Of their exit
With letters penned in
Judgment
That you no longer own,
Memory forming
An ancient speech pattern
Waiting silent and distant
For new words to create
An even newer anonymity
  —where truth may be found

Observation 3 Lost Souls
They front for public perception
Campaign like it's an election
Make people sick figuratively, like an infection
Just for attention
Monetize in ah dimension
Where money's good suspension
Evil gets the most attention & good needs ah petition
Dealing with the agenda & nobody listen
People full of **** but everyone pissing
Constipated not obligated
To no-one but themselves
Crab in the barrel pulling down everyone but yourself

So Tonight I Might See
He puts his hands on me,
I'm not the only thing he wants.

To men, a body is ecstasy.

"Show me more, put your hand here, give me what I wish you would..."
I am a woman of her pride, dignity.

What you made me feel obligated to do, I had wished to save for another man.
You are gone, but for no price other than my stolen innocence.

He put his hands on me,
Told me he loved me.

I wasn't the only thing he wanted....

Granitic testaments
sprout unstoppable
over the hill.

I know by heart
the graveyard.

Next to the wall
first maple on the left
past the bell tower,.
our stone stands,
room for one more.

Will my final twinkling
come quick, unexpectedly,
or slowly dressed in gray breaths
as mourning doves nest
in the eaves?

In any case, don’t feel obligated to
visit my engraved memory
under which I’m really not.
If you do, when you go
leave the gate firmly latched....

Beneath the Skin
I want to show you how I feel
(you always look on the outside)
A fire burns within me
(what's going on in the inside)

Life in the shadows seems so real
Darkens the life which I should feel
Can you tell me how to live
Obligated to give
To those who kneel

Try to say a prayer that touches me
A time when I drop everything and leave
But it is still here to haunt me

Give me a break beneath the skin
Softly speaks to the hate and sin
I feel my strength growing within...

Premium Member Frozen To Be Forgotten
Every single day
I climb out of my hole
Pretend that every thing is ok
When I just want to crawl back into it
Time, money ,a roof ,food
All those things forgotten because life takes hold.I always feel obligated and give too much.Only on someone mind when needed because she never says no.No invite to to parks or shows, just left inside the gilded cage till needed to cash in.when all dried out left to struggle with her own self loathing and abandoned and always on the back burner....

Disheartened
Although I am grateful, doesn't mean I am free.
For even when a slave is relieved of their hunger,
They are still very much enslaved to their master.

Although I have tendency for guilt, doesn't mean I am obligated to help.
For even when someone considerately offers,
Their efforts can only be so easily dismissed.

Although I am so fortunate, doesn't mean I feel fulfilled.
For even when one has all the riches in the world,
Even their own loved ones can make them feel so alone....
