Pepto

Oh poor oh me oh
Franks and beans
Gives me indigestion
And you know what that means
Gastritis and heartburn
Needs pink relief
So I take
Pepto-Bismol

Sun's Warm Hold

The yellow face of sunshine
Has cast its glow on me
With warmth and welcomed feelings
That makes me feel so free
Embracing me so tightly
Its arms are its own rays
That keeps me so protected
And smiling all the days
me

Boat Trip

Sedate me with your splashes,
Refresh me in the rain,
Whip me with the crashes,
The crashes of the wave,
Soak my skin, make it wet,
Water be my salty slave,
Soak my skin so I’ll forget,
The many things I often crave.

I am a little archangel,
please let me in your garden dwell,
when there,I will spread out so well;
Later,you won't let me settle
but I'll keep you in fine fettle,
I'm the dreaded yellow-nettle.

Allergies of Mine

The flowers, trees, grass or bees
Each of these can make me sneeze
Even knock me to my knees
Careful if you please

Sun

Gives me a sunburn

                                           Bleaches my curly red hair

                                             Makes me nice and tan

The Sun

The sparkling voice of the ever blazing sun brought me to my feet
A morning like a few spent before lay before my eyes
I'll wait and wait till the sun goes down and again chase me from behind
A reason that wonders me about and the answer I shall find

Its Raining!

Look! Its raining!
Drop everything,
and run outside!

Rain on me! Pour on me!

Wash me clean
of all my sins.

Wear away at
my hardened shell.

Smooth out the rough
edges of my words.

Give me life,
make me blossom.

Rain on me! Pour on me!

The Gibbous Moon

Tonight the gibbous moon shined bright
Like catharsis for my infinite thoughts

Touched by natural chords, he
Called me above dark treetops
Amid cerulean skies.
As if, I belong with them, among myriad and myriad of stars,
He drew me closer, ever nearer

Prairie Fields

Through the sea of timeless beauty
swaying heads of flaxen gold
whispered kiss of prairie breezes
under globes of blue bird oceans
sailing ships are floating fleeces
in this vast and timeless world
lie me down neath Apollo's splender
let me warm my troubled soul..
Form: Ode

Nature

swirls of blues grays and greens
suround me in a fortress fit for a queen
the noises so foreign to me
where am i the beautiful sea
petite as a butterflies wing
to me the prettiest thing
purples pinks and greens
so beautiful, so serene
rise high like a tower
what is it, a flower

Happiness Rains Upon Me

The sound of rain played against my pane
I listened, just so intent
A lively beat, that got me to my feet
To the windows, I then went

It was a playful mist, that played all this
As it made me smile and sway
So grateful was I, to have rain from the sky
To touch me as it did today

A Sun Ray

A sun ray that brightens a day
And makes us want it to stay
The warmth fills us in ways
That makes us happy anyway
The sun ray makes my day
And can keep coming my way
It's like a siloultee of orange
That makes me feel reborn
It's a wonderful thing
That makes me sing
With each days sun ray

Moth

don't confuse me for butterfly
i have a hunger for heat
delicious meat of fire
dancing thru fingers & teeth
curled behind eyes blinded
by such proximity
don't worry don't stop me
from where you stand you see
suicide kamikaze naive
fluttering fly by i crave
don't save me from my
burning treasure

That's Quite Enough

Shut your beak!
Leave me in peace!
Go and find your own branch please.
I've had enough!
You're way too much,
Dancing and larking around and such.
Twittering on at me all night,
now it's dawn, I've had no sleep.
You can't shut your smart ass beak,
I'll shut it for you feathered freak!

Lightning Bug

Upon a glance
I did but see a
a flicker of hope

I happened on
a party of sorts
a celestial kind of dance

What enthralled me so
was bug of light and awe
an organic spark

it played around
abound for nowhere
not a friend or foe

then out the sky
all I saw was a
ball of light

begging me to play
asking me to stay
and all I wanted was to fly

Shadows

Shadows tell me, tell me what?
Tell me shadows tell me not.
Nothing has a shade to say
Till in night he dies away.

Sunrays tell me, tell me this:
Tell me sunrays shadows miss.
Missing shadows all the day,
Yet they're never far away.

Sunray, he is never sad;
Missing Shade is miss most glad.
Hit, he does, the "it"s he hits;
Striken "it", it never flits!

The Admiring

Admiring from a distance
Too shy to be noticed
Watching way his hair covers his
eyes
listening to his voice
Thinking if only he was mine
The way our eyes met
His smile leaves me in some type of
daze
 Heart beating faster
Leaving me breathless
 speechless
Mind racing
Lips trembling
Heart pounding
Crushing on him
One opportunity to truly be his...

Floating On Water Underneath the Sun

Floating on water underneath the sun

Written By Dean Masciarelli

Tuesday, July 20, 2010

Floating on water underneath the sun

Feeling the waves splashing on my skin

Left me with such an amazing sensation

That made me want to sing all day long

Because it made me feel like

I was just embraced by Heaven

Because everything was so peaceful and calm

When I was a mere five years old
An Alsation dog was never controlled
As quick as a flash
It bit me on the ass
It's reaction was never foretold

Since then dogs have scared me quite a lot
A resolution needed to be sought
As I grew to be older
With dogs I became bolder
So a Golden Cocker Spaniel we got

Looking Inside of Me

Walking around in a meadow I see a beautiful flower I pick just for me,raising it up for me to see the beauty this flower has grown to be. I place this flower up in my hair for every one to see, this beauty that flows on and over me, take a step back and look at me and tell me if you can see this beautiness instilled deep in me. This is how it should be when you walk by and look at me.

Sunbeam

It kisses the world hello
As it shows itself to me
The sunbeams in the room
Morning comes to be.

It's nice to lay in bed
And take in what I see
An new day dawning
Afternoon leave me be.

Dreams still linger
Dizzy from the night
Thank you quiet hours
Just the right amount of light.

Hold me a few more moments
Don't let me get away
I fear the clock is ticking
Mystery unfolds today.

Blue Dragonfly

A streak of blue lightning
Across a babbling brook
Takes me unawares
That moment that I look
Past pastures of green
And dandelions of gold,
My attention is fixed
On this insect so bold.

Hovering in a mid-air blur
Above a flower’s heart
Its acrobatic antics
Amaze me with a start!
Then, just as suddenly
It zooms off at such a pace
That it would leave me breathless
If I ran that fast in a race!

Premium Member Fog

The eerie fog enshrouded all.
It conquered my vision,
with it's menacing creep.
It rolled in so dense,
so self contained.
My imagination, ran wildly
in this thick mist.
Just when, I though it abated
It consumed me again.
Gravitating me to the spot
move I could not.
Like a master of illusion
Things appeared and disappeared
from my sight.
Moving slowly, catching glimpses
as it opened a window for me.
