The Gibbous Moon

Tonight the gibbous moon shined bright
Like catharsis for my infinite thoughts

Touched by natural chords, he
Called me above dark treetops
Amid cerulean skies.
As if, I belong with them, among myriad and myriad of stars,
He drew me closer, ever nearer

Had to look up the word "gibbous" ... LOL ... I've never seen this word and thought at first it was a typo ... thats the English teacher in me ... smile ... Love your words and this is a wonderful selection to be a feature here at the Soup this week. Congratulations, Barbara!!
