Sunbeam

It kisses the world hello
As it shows itself to me
The sunbeams in the room
Morning comes to be.

It's nice to lay in bed
And take in what I see
An new day dawning
Afternoon leave me be.

Dreams still linger
Dizzy from the night
Thank you quiet hours
Just the right amount of light.

Hold me a few more moments
Don't let me get away
I fear the clock is ticking
Mystery unfolds today.

Good descriptive wording and rhyming go together in this offering. Good job.
