Self

The lier in me

will not allow me

to see,

what a messed-up

person,

I can be.

Premium Member Painfully Aware

I know I'm messed up in the head.
I know all the reasons why
I had always wished I was dead.
But now I just feel like I'm unable to cry.

It Hurts

It hurts when you realize you aren't as important
To someone as you thought you were,
I can't wait for the day when you realize,
      you MESSED UP

The world seems incredibly messed up
The TV confirms it’s not right
I’m not sure what’s going to improve things
Who cares? My grandson walked tonight

Rave.

messed up on ex,
not knowing whats coming next,
seeing lights go 'round,
not knowing whats going down,
partying all night;
high on the anecdote of life.

The Magician

The magician hurt his back
Trying to put the rabbit back in the sack
But, he was to quick
So, he messed up the trick
Ended up, cooked meat stuffed in a pack

Raw Honey

She captures his thoughts
and drapes them across her lips to
see what he tastes like

Black and White

I'm stuck up
and I'm messed up
I saw only sides
like black and white
never the insides
always blaming
and discriminating
never listening
to there true sides

Feeble Trump called out Joe Biden
He’s messed up and always hidin'
Who botched Pacific
Is not terrific
And his approval’s now slidin'!

A Place

Like the stars in the night
Let my faith burn bright
And my hope just as strong
So maybe I can belong
In this messed up place we call home
My friend this is the end of my poem

Beach Day

Your Tanned body,
Glittering along the Jersey Shore,
Black swim suit,
Messed up hair in photo ready state,
Ho-Joe's motor inn,
Kids,
Laughing,
Libations
What a beach day!

He messed up and created his crisis,
he should have foreseen the outcome.
In his delusion he did not think through
that no one would be around to save him.

Superstition

Knock on wood
fingers crossed
don't step on cracks
don't walk under ladders
what kind of messed-up
window cleaner have I got ?.

Premium Member No Cure

"You Need Help!" they say to me constantly,
and so I agree to begin attending therapy,
but I never go. I have given up.
I know that there's no cure or treatment
for my kind of "messed up".

Premium Member Messed Up

I drank and nearly
Lost it all
Messed up
Woke up in jail
Got out and walked in slippers
The three quarter mile stretch
Then to the bus and home
What a great day and now things
Are already getting better

Thanks Dad

Why are you surprised to hear the things I do,
You raised me,
Bullied me,
Battered me black and blue,
Don’t be surprised when I turn my hate on you,
You failed me,
Abused me,
And now I’m messed up too.

Messed Up Love

Burning up
Torn apart
“I have had enough!”
Jaded, by your words & thoughts
Deepest, darkest parts of my heart
Drowning in my own tears and sorrow
“What have you done to me?”
“I can’t function, any more!”
Messed up love!

Numbers

There are billion reasons why see you the way i do,
A million things i could talk about,
A thousand reasons on why we shouldn't stop
A hundred ways we are messed up
But only one thing i'd tell you every day;
I love you.
