Time's memento unfolds a thousand lore;
Soul's ode is forged, behold!
As tides approach, a tale's told
Adrift every spirit's mold.

She had been away,
Had walked through midnight's pathway,
She stands not alone,
No longer on a lone flight,
A home they have found with her.

A young girl from near Sacramento,
Was chewing a tasty pimento,
She then bit her tongue
And although very young,
Cried out "Shucks! NOW I've got a memento!"
Reflections on black water lay
below dark rounded sky
until
The day reveals a color gray
as night begins to cry
so still

locked in box of treasures

Clarity in a treasure box
we are mere travelers
through this plane
who we are
what we posses
are sands
through the hour glass
memento mori
we are already gone
to God
who waits at the end of time
carpe diem
live it
love it
--------------------------Superego: Memento mori.
--------------------------Id: I will remind him of it.
I had an eerie dream:
I saw a skull in sleep.
It lay on a tomb brink.
“Mine”, I gave a sigh deep.
Stale, summer
Heat.
Boiling in this
Skin bath
Are you and I.
An obsession,
Now a memento
Of dark complexion,
Stiffened surprises.
I burrow into the
Pill case now
With no more than
An ant farm
In my pocket.
Like a winter bloom
lit by the soft morning sun,
my soul is so thrilled.
Your arrival, Jesus, is ---
my December memento.

Tinkering over the pebbles
flowing freely onwards
smoothly
leaving in its wake soft ripples
as it travels homewards
blithely.

Reflections of life gently flows
Time removes rough edges
A sigh;
There is continuance from throes
Water goes from ledges
To fly.

I am
not motivated
adversity is
torn from
headway
unaware
context
can be
needlessly
preemptive
could
afterworld memento
calmly
vanquish
through
salvation

There once was a youth from Sacramento
Who loved to spice his dish with pimento
His friends thought it worth a laugh
To spike for fun the carafe
They all left quick with no memento

One day, someday, man will awake.
He will find the time of his mistake.
He will turn and cry at his defeat.
On how he’s made this world so bleak.
Yes, he will cry & try to make amends.
Yet what’s done is done & tis the end.
I wish to walk down ancient street
If I do I'll get wet
Unless
Him on watery street I meet
and to him who paid Debt
Confess

From the depths I cry with passion,
Springs of water gush forth
Unleashed;
I run over stones sans caution
Trails subtly across earth
A feast!

By tranquil waters i do dream.
Sweet memories for me
Each day.
To live my life beside this stream,
True happiness would be
To stay.

Colossal raced the churning waves
Neighing loudly, tossed mane
dripping
Enticing Desire to frolic
Their matched white coats mottled
Sea sprayed
