Now down at our local pub
I noticed McGee at the bar
So I pulled up a chair, A bit unaware
That he was a bit under par

He said to me "Last night, 
I tried to take me own life
I wanted to end my misery
In this world full of struggle and strife

So, I started to take a thousand pills, 
and wash them down with wine
but after the second aspirin 
I started to feel just fine...

It is a protype, not ready for people to see.

The recruiting poster incited little Lee.
He could barely wait to shove out to sea.
His cousin joined too, because joining was free.
The recruiter told them how rich they could be.

Grandma McGee got a long switch off a sycamore tree.
She went after that cagey recruiter who started to flee.
He was terrified of this woman who swung a switch like a he.
But he stopped recruiting young men from the Family McGee....

Took his hen for a walk down street seventy-three
Dancing beside him was a weird lunatic-like chickadee

The hen kept her mouth shut, for she was brighter than he

As he took to task to pour the glass of every man he'd see

"It's my anniversary" he would boast and say it loud
"50 years of married bliss" He shouted to the crowd

Remembering his first one he lean toward good Ole' Finn
"A trip to Hawaii, was the gift I gave her then"

Finn said "After 50 years what gift could she now lack ?"

I dress all in green
Like the hills of Goleen
With top hat I wear on my head
I've always like steam
In a long steady stream
As I dream of it lying in bed

And traded me gold, for some brass

But I won't let them in

They want philosophy

Out by the freeway we drink beer
Under the halogen lights
Watching the trucks roll by
