I have a dream
like Martin Luther King
I dream of perfect days
full of holidays and birthdays
I dream of no more hurricanes
and no more terrible pain
I dream of happiness
and no more sadness
I dream of all this coming true
but most of all I dream of you
I am grateful

when it comes to this life
knowing, exactly, what to choose
exactly what I can bring

of my dream
I awoke
to the melodious
voice of Martin Luther
King—
the drum major’s
legacy
continues to fuel
me
towards the justice
we deserve—
look out injustice
you’ve been served:
All hail to Jah
letting freedom ring
as we shout hurrah
celebrating
our lion—Dr. King!
A great storm was brewing
Large numbers queuing
Thunderstorms rolling, lightning blazed
Throngs of people held spellbound, amazed
Trees swayed with arms raised
Nature too had joined in praise
Sceptics unable to accord him such praise
It was Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" address.

and mabe a decision
to walk and talk
to his follow men
about this
he knew he couldn't
he stood tall
to he was very small
he say it all
now from above you can hear
his call
comming from the pass
free at last
this was his love theme

DOCTOR MARTIN LUTHER KINGS DREAM

Or, why else was JESUS made a
sacrifice at Calvary
As ROSA, inadvertently challenged
the system of Montgomery
And, JFK, became a target of some
CONSPIRACY
While, PREJUDICE, took the life of Rev.
Martin Luther King
Inevitably, did Someone make a sacrifice
for You and Me
Bronze and stone, they had a dream:
They commisioned a statue,
I guess they thought it would bring
A semblance of remembrance;
Something to which they could cling.
The artist had his virtue*
And created what would seem
A semblance of resemblance
To one Martin Luther King.
Alas, it was not their dream.
