Dream Lines

From out
of my dream
I awoke
to the melodious
voice of Martin Luther
King—
the drum major’s
legacy
continues to fuel
me
towards the justice
we deserve—
look out injustice
you’ve been served:
All hail to Jah
letting freedom ring
as we shout hurrah
celebrating
our lion—Dr. King!
