Your words and the great man's image etched in stone are a stirring match. Let us not forget how our greatness trumps banal, boorish actions. We celebrate a man who appealed to our better angels--not our basest instincts. So difficult to build good will, so simple to tear it down! Robert

Ty, Robert. This hero's sacrifice will live on AND torn down along with Martin Luther King Day, with this new regime in control. They call our leader a hero for simply undoence of what King and other true hero's have sacrificed their lives for...."Freedom" now taken back.

You're welcome, and you figured it out! Celebrations shall be few and far between, Duke my poet friend. As the Trump is making a frontal assault against Martin Luther King Day, and Black History month, and Juneteenth on a federal level. Wondering if Indigenous People Day shall go back to Columbus Day here anyway?

We can all love, if we put our mind to it. I see a difference between groups. At my church, the love of all is quite apparent, no matter the color! At another church, it was different. Let us love God and one another. Blessings! MLK day! I always love the speech, the shout out to “Stone Mountain,” which is nearby.
