MARS&VENUS
Side
by side-
she'd listen
missing true love's
gaze
Face
to face-
he'd listen
only hearing
praise.
Two years of marriage got Elon Musk,
The third marriage in his life
He start to dream to run to Mars
Without any wive!
Where shall
We find wisdom
To silence
The demons of mars
Through this
Canon of love
Wisdom captured
This lonely star
I'm not a passionate man
but I'm not dispassionate
about the moon and stars
and taking the elevator
from Earth to Mars.
She eats the cookies
She eats the cakes
She eats for sins sake
Spiced rum and frozen mars bars
She is addicted
Not to me
The man in the moon
pulls his collar up
around his chin
in the frosty evening
and warms his hands
on the fires of Mars..
pretend
it never happened
the fright the flight the fight
of your life that caused years of unrelenting strife
stan sand
As the moon cannot without the stars
And the morning without its dew
Just as Venus cannot without Mars
So I cannot without you
None Of The
Human Launched
Missions In
Space, To The
Moon Or Mars
Or Elsewhere
Orbiting The Sun
Have Been Staged
Yet.
I'm shocked
one of many
in shock
aboard the gin palace
lost far from the pleasure dome
somewhere between
the Moon and Mars.
I am
Venus
You are
Mars
Worlds
Between us
Planets
Stars
Want me
Love me
Valley
Hill
Yes I
Love you
Want you
Still
airborne pathogens
fenced world out of kilter
impulse to Mars brews
Haiku composed: August 21, 2020
Sometimes I think
I live on Mars
as you do well on earth.
And sometimes I am so sad
about that and else
that I have to just eat one
Mars InSight Mission
revealing the heart of Mars-
boarding pass received
two million plus names on board
earning frequent flyer miles
We have a vehicle on Mars
Down on Earth, no gas for our cars
No heat overnight
No water in sight
in Texas, they're just seeing stars!
Twins, the sons of Mars
Romulus and Remus are
The founders of Rome

Was that Sphinx head on Mars
Or some prisoner behind bars
Seems like a mutated face
Of a different race
Like human parts in doctor’s jars
Whilst Bruno Mars ascends new stars
Elvis Presley haunts old boudoirs
Second to none
They both have fun
Just strumming their gutsy guitars.
All the fighting Irish see stars
Over pints of Guinness in bars
But Jan has a plan
To transport each man
Its called, "Cork, Uranus to Mars"
crowned queen of the gods
saturn and jupiter loom
large in her orbit
known for her protective role
mars bows to her motherly grace
he warns he's not a mind reader
as the wiles of my silent treatment
fall by the wayside wasted and utterly forlorn
AP: 2nd place 2025
Phobos and Deimos took a walk.
They stumbled upon a big moon rock.
A bit misshapen.
If not mistaken,
They told Mars, but he was not in shock.
There once was a man named Gar,
Who came from the planet Mars.
He had fun in the sun,
As he toasted his buns.
And slurped his drink from a bar.
We journey
from the devastated Earth
to the Moon
then settle in Mars
but there's no love for Mars
only a burning ambition
to recolonize Earth.
Carry me like a river
To the mouth of Hades
Bring light to this touch
To find the cusp of Mars
And worlds have
Eyes to capture
This moon
