Tequila Sunrise

UP, and away I go, Hello Mexico!

It's my annual Vacation.

Those Frequent Flyer miles sure saved my Cash,

Except from Thirst and Starvation!

Round ended, Well blended, Senoritas,

There'd be no Fender I'd pass!

Mary Jane and Three more Margaritas,

AAH! It's Splendor in the Grass!

Drink

In the Underworld they drink pomegranate margaritas
I am certain.
If you had an endless supply of damned fruit to yourself
would you not do the same?

I’m sure Hades is sick of slender Persephone
in her pink rose perfume
and lilac pearls
telling him he drinks too much,
that he might just drink himself to death
if he wasn’t already there.

Sold My Soul

I’m a clever guy, all being told
Greying nicely, not growing old
Have a good heart, stone cold
Speak my own truth, little bold

Really bad attitude, I never fold
Worth my weight, in fools gold
Your credit card, I’ll always hold
What’s that I hear, a cent, Sold!

Paean on poets, for myself

Under the Cancun Sun

Under the Cancun sun,
on the Yucatan peninsula,
relaxing at the Blue Bay Club,
sipping Margaritas.
Glorius early morning beach,
I set out for a morning run,
soft white sand tingles beneath my feet,
under the cancun sun.
This unsurpassable paradise,
the Caribbean sea of turquoise waves,
I dreamingly feast my eyes,
upon this magical place,
right beneath the Cancun sun.

The Beach

We're dozing off in the sun
Our lives like a loaded gun
We're carefree and fancy free
I don't know where I'd rather be

Sippin' margaritas on the beach
Our lives are no longer out of reach
We party all day, party all night
Our goals and dreams are still in sight

Our lives have come to take us away
We'd rather party and just stay
We've got our goals and dreams ahead
We'd rather stay in the sun instead

Act One

Act One

This lifetime
is simply a rehearsal.

In my next gig
I will sing opera
and dance seductively
with a handsome stranger.

In my next life
I will sip margaritas
on a deserted island
and never feel alone.

I will never know
the feeling of being betrayed.
I will not have to imagine
a world without child abuse

for in my next gig
the world will be a perfect place
where suffering and hate
aren’t even in the dictionary…

Messengers of Spring

Boten des Frühlings / Messengers of Spring / Mensajeros de la primavera

Boten des Frühlings
Margeriten, Löwenzahn
Dicht bei der Straße

Und Hummeln im Freudenflug
Über dem Blütenteppich

Messengers of spring
Marguerites, dandelions
Close to the road

Bumblebees in joyous flight
Over the flower carpet

Mensajeros primaveral
Margaritas, dientes de león
Cerca de la calle

Abejorros en vuelo alegre
Sobre la alfombra de flores

Jack Frost - Acrostic

June is a month of needed vacation for me
Acapulco, Mexico is where I've come to be
Cantina's, tacos, no ice in my margaritas
Karaoke bars and lots of sweet senoritas

Far away from those frigid winters of snow
Relaxing on a beach, then back to work I go
Old Jack knows how to have a lil' bit of fun
See you later. I'm gonna soak up some sun
Tequila! Another margarita-this one frozen

Delicate Hue

Blushing soft roses, filled with the smell of romance.
Beneath a flushing sky, as a rosy day comes to an end.
Pinking cheeks and a tender kiss.
Delicate heart candies and cookies top with adorable messages.
Tipsy off of tasty pink margaritas, that flushes the nose and cheeks.
Bubbly laughter that rises from the lungs, causes one's vision to pink even more.
A lovely delicate hue, for you, when you're filled with romance.
Simply remember such a soft hue, and then you won't feel so bad.

Frosty’s Vacation

Frosty really loved to travel you know,
but couldn't go to a place with no snow.
All his friends heard him chatter
"This is snow laughing matter!
Maybe Antarctica's where I should go!"

On the way south he saw a cantina
right at the bottom of Argentina;
and there he did manage
to take full advantage
of a sale on frozen Margaritas.

Frosty, by way of explanation,
vacationed at McMurdo Station.
He met a snow sprite
whose name was Pearl White.
It's said they had quite a flirtation!
