In the noisy forest
that loomed dark, dense and dreary

Thanksgiving Day loomed for old Tom Turkey
Averting the feared axe seemed quite murky
So he made this soulful plea
I would much prefer that ye
Enjoyed a feast of spam or beef jerky

Avoiding the dreaded ax seemed murky

I'd be much obliged if ye
Enjoyed a feast of ham or beef jerky
blackmailing of the heart
shakedown of the soul
regression threatened
reversion tactics used
estrangement loomed
extraction of emotional attachment
gone from the world of connection
left with nothing but memories
A tower of good books she piled high;
collection grew faster than space;
tower loomed behind a door.
Ceiling-bound, tower was;
but like all towers,
what climbs; may fall.
Tower fell
atop
her!
At the desert junction
of hope and despair
We scanned the horizon
to seek passage there
Yet just when despair
loomed ahead in the sand

To sell smart trash bins a man George did hire,
but loss loomed large, put him in dumpster fire.

It'd taken root in desert sands
a cactus that never bloomed
for in its past a secret loomed...
struck down as justice demands
Left to blow about in the wind,
detached from what was real
no guilt or remorse did it feel...
just a vagabond who had sinned

The lilies called me
I sheltered in their flowers
a casket loomed close
BIRDS
Sirens scream at dawn
helicopters in pursuit
birds keep on singing

shrouded a valley
a chill November dusk --
a moon loomed over,
everything in halos
of pale, cold light:
no Indian Summer this...
Late geese flew, high up;
damp leaves burned slow
in an orange fire
whose smoke wraithed
straight up, in a column,
to the sky.
the braising tomorrow
gathered beneath me
upon a silent glare
sounded by great wealth
unwanted unneeded borrowed
from yesterday oh how I gazed
above ground whimpering
a solid tear formed from a nesting
fear an empty sigh where love
loomed about God's own

Pharisees threatened.

· Replaced by chains, beneath a somber sky.

Eternal Sleep of mine
Wish could come at a better time
The work still unknown
but sleep seems grown
The bitter pillar that I consumed
but truth still doomed
Perfect path I took
I was on tenter hook
Though the hopes were high
for the fog still loomed
The hoary glasses
look is unknown
I rub my eyes
Could I see the sky
