through your looking glass
redefine your prospects
reroute all efforts
stay an undiscovered self
reaffirm life's terms within
looking glass magic
murky message barely seen
who is the fairest
threatening message
from spirit or ancestor
i wiped it away
In the museum of life
a new way of seeing.
Through the looking glass of reality
living symbols shake hands
with the chaotic &familiar
the looking glass away
Eisoptrophobia unfortunately
her Leporiphobia kept her away from
the rabbit hole edge
so she wandered the land
a life so bland
I tried to crash through
the looking glass
and was left
dazed and bleeding
on the floor
the glass had shattered around me
but I was where I was
before.
drink a glass of milk
creamy moon on upper lip
see in looking glass
heart as sparrow is slain struck by the azure of the looking glass pane

the mirrors and glasses can't help but falling
the tough and the mindless can't help but brawling
when earth's soul gapes through the looking glass
only pure spirits can protect it.
Prism
kaleidoscopic, geometric
bending, reflecting, dispersing
polyhedron, crystal, imagery, looking glass
redeeming, glowing, modeling
confident, consequential
Mirror
I see
I stare
I am aware
I might just dare
To sit amid your glare
Anger once inside
Not here, yet still resides
The allure for you so past
Yet eyes see you through a looking glass
brings back memories,
haze of cotton candy days,
with limitless play

Oh the heady days of youth
Fondly now recalled
Evoke such sweet reverie
Comeliness enthralled
Reflections were kind
In a looking glass of yore
Memories enshrined
Looking Glass
Poem by Panagiota Romios
brings back memories
haze of cotton candy days
plus limitless play

Untying times pink ribbon from amid...
Her golden hair ? As standing afore love's
Looking glass slowly removing, silks perfumed
Negligee while kissing softly, her cherry lips' pink petals.

Although her truth is cast in each beholders eye,
alas, by looking glass dear Beauty is misled.
Reflection clouds charisma it should amplify
and clearly mirrors doubt it finds inside instead
Half full; half empty?
Plastic or glass?
How short, how tall?
What does all this really matter?
Life truly is the way we look at things.
And what actually matters; is that we have a glass at all!
Passions Flower

Hibiscus
no wall-flower you.
Nor Nosegay laurel.
Not wormwood at virgin’s-bower.
So sweet William
seeing Venus’s looking-glass
discovers a Passion-flower.
not
a reflection
or
a picture of perfection
So,what is my goal?
merely a sur-real
glance
into the looking-glass
of
my soul
with id & ego
on show

new year
new time
isn’t it funny how we request old lives?
soon it’ll be not a new me
an old me craving grey
again I find
looking glass and time
don’t sink as well as I do
(thank you)
I spied a wonderful blond on the beach
Her body so shapely and peached
I was in ogling mood
I know it was rude
Through binoculars, so far out of reach

In the midst of this starry night
I lie upon a bed of meadow grass
Moonbeams providing ample light
To watch the world silently pass
On feathered wings, a lark took flight
I feel like Alice inside her looking glass
Prostrate between earth and sky
Drained, desperate, powerless,
But the imagination soars,
And penetrates reflections
Like Alice’s looking glass
When we look yonder
We see within
And explore
Dreams

I would look through the window at feeble old men
and secretly smirk
and secretly pity
Now the window looks back and its message is clear
that old man is you
and the picture’s not pretty
(Villanova Pennsylvania: April, 2020)
Alive as half a century passed;
I put my life to the looking glass.
Saturday morning after hitting the links;
I paused for a moment and then I thinks;
If I traded these scores with my college tour,
I would have made A’s in each.
dropped my mirror
yesterday
fractured me across the floor
so many many
dismayed mes looking up at me
staring staring
from that oh-so-shattered
splintered everywhere
looking glass
of mirrored
broken me.
