Ad Break

The adverts around my poems abound,
selling flights and exotic locations.
The adverts around my poems are bound
to limit poetic variation

arranged in haphazard design,
their inspiration, anything but divine.

Death

Life leaved lavished locations
east establishes engagements
north normally had nothing knowns
west wishes no wastes
south summon their souls
life left rubbishes and rashes.

Epitaph

The world is vast

No one can journey it all

No eyes will see all its being

Drawing breath at different locations

But will all meet

At the belly of death?

Something we’ll all share.

Premium Member Gravitational Causation

We should all be thankful as a nation For the phenomenon called “gravitational causation” A strange unknown force Pushing down during intercourse Causing an increase in the birthrate in some locations

The Games of War

A new board opens;
New pieces are set in place...
Neutral locations.

Old men, face to face,
Talk of peace behind false teeth
Across the tables...

They make power moves;
Subtle strategies avail
To take the pieces.

Premium Member Despair a Found Phrasis

in winter...continuity
....on a blank wall

locations,interiors
indelibly drawn on memory

dirt grime,decomposition
mirrors of neglect

nothing ..no one rules
anarchy avails

reputations burn..
with no place to go

I offen soffen neether content nor intent,

       eether explicit or implicit about

       devices to rearrange things in

       the Care-ah-beein Sea or

       pahkin karz at Hahvad

       in Bostin.

Sounds

Fake locations
fake bread you brake daily
tryin
to escape your true path of hatred

I like you better when you are only you
naked with with your blunt words
don't hide behind the white sheets in Georgia
I will find you and place storms there.

Laws of Motion

Where are the static river streams?
Where is the stationary sea?
Only in our thoughts and daydreams
can permanent things ever be.

Planets alter their rotations.
All objects dance to gravity.
Continents move their locations.
All things must change, including me.

A Musical Clue, Ignored.

Throaty, rhythmic guitar rolls
Across the room and calms my hands.
His voice, like a cigar box angel
Pokes around my insides and opens my mouth-
It finds plenty of nesting spots.
I wait for you to turn around
To see each word he has sung
Poking out of me in relevant locations.

One God; one spirit man; one creation.
One spirit man of infinite forms and
expressions. One earth of infinite size
and locations. One eternity of infinite
infinites. God breathes out so that we
may breathe in. He proves himself daily.
Faith and knowledge are a Universal One.

Geography

Doing is Happening
There are imaginary lines to mark locations in a map
Horizontal parallel layti are latitude lines.
Vertical khari lambi are longitude lines.
Four directions to go
The time is now.
Note.Maps can only guide readers.
Lesson. The marker of imagination is an important ingredient.

The Butterfly

The Butterfly
So beautiful and colorful
Flying high
On the ground at times
Different destinations
Various many locations
Butterfly.

Wide-spread wings
Beautiful landed
Off to shore
On the sea
Rivers and lakes
Much more.

The Butterfly.

Traveling around town
Non sound
The Butterfly.

Euphuistic

Euphuistic

Does you hand wad

Neither shoe burned into

A railroad spike

At night

I temper sound

Minds get rudes

Tellers often worry

On locations, and plenty

If we ain't prepared

Progress ain't caught wind

Chairs and snakes

Like hauntmares

No saddles

Give me no rides

I felt no bumbs

Tranquil Death

It’s weird how some of the most beautiful natural areas
I know were brought to my attention by warplane crashes.
In this case the P-51 Mustang.
The areas are Castleshaw Moor and Rooley Moor.
At those locations I feel truly at peace.
I’d stay forever...

Premium Member My Home

My home's not made of brick
  or even frame or wood
She's been known to move around
  from locations bad to good

She required no down payment
I never got a mortgage statement
Yet for comfort and for loveliness
She tops, by far, all other nests

For my home is where your heart does beat
~ My Paradise on Earth ~ so sweet

Choosing Your Station In Life

You may choose to be inactive in your life’s station
As you watch other trains travel to many different locations

Or you may sit stagnant on your train in quiet contemplation
As you question your undesirable situation

Or you can choose to get on board an active rolling train
As you seek new vistas and greet new horizons sustain

Premium Member Year's End

Year's end.
The calendar expires
in time's continuum.
Arbitrary demarcations
shift and fade.
Locations change; faces age.
Everything, though different,
remains the same.
Plus ca change, plus ca meme.
The stars are ruled by cycles
that the year produces.
Time decides the issues.
Our lives are nursery songs
in minor keys and
everything's been said.

Reams of Rhymes

Do you have the time
To listen to me rhyme
Use another ream
Or write another scheme

Would you like to hear
The many things I fear
Or listen to me cry
As my nightmares pass by

Can you even know
The places I would go
The things I would see
The locations I'd be

Should you even care
That I was even there
That I write this rhyme
To cherish this our time

Knowing-Space

Knowing-Space

A direct experience
Of a space-like reality
In which thoughts-perceptions
Appear and disappear..
The Knowing-Space
Colors and un-colors
 In endless variety
With seeming borders
And locations pretending
An utter independence..
Thought is using these words
In a convincing way
Until we recognize
Once again
The Knowing-Space...

A Big Word Learned Late In Life

I learned a murmuration is
a flock of starlings whirling and
turning in the sky, changing

directions in a second,
flying back again, blackening
the sky in long sweeps until

for reasons man doesn’t know
the birds separate and fly away.
A different murmuration now

gathers on the sand and sends
dedicated men to new locations.
Berlin and Paris understand.

Donal Mahoney

Morning Oh Day

MORNING! OH, DAY!

The skies open their eyes
The colors of flowers sing
and dew of morning licks
nature's tender head
  a hawk pronounces
command of air
 and the silent Queen
of Earth the ground
enjoys her breakfast
at any of the locations
she wishes.

Within their suits the
Sparrows sing their best
to audiences in meadows
and forest edges.

Morning! Oh Day!

Winter Wonderland

Descend do these droplets
Landing in locations to later displace
Falling fast from the sky
Onto cavorting child's face
Alight, they arrive; shattering small
But joining again, one whole are they all
Smothering and covering,
Blanketing our Nation
Stripping of color,
All of God's creation.
Obscure are our bluebirds
Belated, approach new birds
Suppressed; a love song
Yet life goes along
Encompassed in our Winter Wonderland.

In early morning dawn
when dreams invade
the peaceful mind
becoming like a active volcano
of visions and colours
of faces and places
some familiar others not
explosive situations
or serene peaceful locations
some bubbling with intense heat
or venting like the rising steam
creating cracks and fissures
to a once sleepy peaceful mind
trapped in a vortex
of emotions and feelings
between wake and dreaming
these early dreams invade.
