Left Handed Lover
my left handed lover
has a silken
touch
knowing
reaching
holding
and yet
breathless
in time....

My boss asked me how old I was today.
When I told him I was 60 he said, "No Way!"
"Tomorrow I'm putting you on a lighter work detail," to me he told.
"I had no idea that you were so frigging old."...

Playball
Playball

Being left handed, bowling was hard
My first time playing
Should've practiced in the yard
Drew my arm back and let the ball go
I was turned the wrong way, Oh boy, Oh no
Nobody was hit, thankfully
That one night of bowling did it for me...

The Walk To Sobriety
The Walk

Long hot desert
Empty of people
Not even a camel in sight
He clutched a euro coin
In his sweaty palm
He was left handed
 Wanted to buy
A glass of beer
Hatless he fainted
Belly up
 Awoke at sun-down
 A date palm
Clutching a coin...

Ode To Jm Hendrix
James was pretty good at his job
Left- handed nonetheless
Most thought it was not music
The kids just could not care less.

The feedback always washed him clean
The crowds breathed purple haze.
At 27, he died on Paisley satin sheen
Too much talent, he just ran out of days....

Coordinated
“Your hat's all wrong”, she said,
“On the wrong side of your head”.

“To the mirror”, she commanded.
Discovered I was now left-handed.

I removed the hat with discretion,
Found myself without direction.

Realizing the magnitude of my loss,
I valued the lines I could not cross....

The Molly-Dooker's Curse
I am left handed in a right handed world
And have learnt to live with this unkind meld
A molly-dooker whose saving is that at the time
When others try to beat me up they will find
My defensive action will put their timing off
And then I use my lefting ways to win and then scoff.

Company Cafeteria
Company Cafeteria

People right-handed
carry their cups
in the right hand.
Left-handed people
carry their cups
in the hand that befits
left-handed people.
Whichever the hand
all carry their cups
elbows right-angled.
Whichever the hand,
all cups are at sea, adrift
on an ocean of saucers.

Engineer and Inventor
- Thinking of Jobs and Wozniak

they are like arms
left handed or right handed
there may be,
Discrimination between the two hands
is impossible,
because they are connected
each other

Oh yeah, one thing
inventor compared to engineer
walking slowly but
can laugh with
a relaxed smile
because he is not competing
towards the goal....

My hands are rustic brown; They've been around a little while; Sum of 66+ years; I'm left handed yes I've felt the ruler; and when things are; Just as they seem; Yes! things are vivid as a dream; I just balance these things; I am just the sum of the product; ~ Sum of 66+ years;

Soli
Soli : by JImmy Muniks

Being amongst men is equity to all things
Left handed men face others in the crowd
By the weakness of knowing little about the heart
This heart is a city’s place
Citing Cities for all individuals
All men and all women
Dexterous or entirely weak
Not less anything or nothing for hope
Being amongst less diminishes these men
Left handed are places for all things...

I simpy don't understand my new psychiatrist
I've already completed three one-hour sessions
He sits there transfixed, listening to me as if I were
the most interesting person to ever walk this earth...

I can't tell you one single thing about this fellow
other than he wears jeans, he's left-handed
and he doesn't need listening lessons
Next session, he talks or I walk

Why is he sitting there, wasting my time...

Poetic Endeavours Are Not Meant To Cure Us. Part 2-Chaos Becomes Me Well
Emotionless wrist cutters scream in chaos.
I spit black horror in their stupid faces.
Sycophantic bastards burn in the flaming pits of hell.
But me I break spines and hearts in equal measure.
Brittle bones splinter in both directions.
A lack of brains paints me sombre.
If all of creation is against us, then why do we carry on existing.
Right-sided circles exude nothing but calm.
Whilst left handed doorways smash our faces in....

Rebound
You are left handed
I am right
You are out of reach
I am out of sight

You are in another state
I am on my own
You are with someone else
I am living alone

You pretended you needed me
I wondered why
You said I was your everything
I believed your lie

You made promises
I thought you could keep
You were shallow
I was deep

You hid your feelings
I suspected you played around
You were toxic for me
I was your rebound...

Ho Hum, I'D Rather Have Some Simple Fun
i look at life from the side
i am always wrong
i look at life while perfectly centered
i am still always wrong
i look at life at a right side view
i am definitely wrong on that end
i look at life at a left handed view
things begin to become a bit clearer, but i am still thrown curve balls and strike out
totally exhausted and fully burnt out, i chalk it all down to lessons learned and call it a day
tomorrow i start it all over again, and the irregularly rhythmic beat goes on...
