With a heart as good as in heaven,
though detained in earth of love’s leaven.

Goodbye

You might as well shove dirt
in my face and dump me in a
dumpster, if your gonna treat me
like this! I'm not taken this!
I'm leaven you with your dirt and trash!

Goodbye.

Parable 3: Leaven

A woman took a measure of leaven,
then kneaded it with flour in her kitchen.
   A loaf did arise
   to a wonderful size;
for like such is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 13.33

Miracles Happen

Unfruitful woman,
Grieving and barren
Lament not life’s fortune.
Heaven shall reckon.
Plump as a melon.
Life wrought its leaven.
Childbirth. My haven.

The Good Man Effect

Be contented
What God has gives
Never complain.

Happy enough
What do you have
Share to others.

Love your freedom
Don't abuse it
No one get hurt.

Affect others
With your goodness
Like leaven bread.

Ninny and the Bowl of Yeast

I am planning for a feast
without the beast,
so I can leaven the bread,
with the bowl of yeast,
but ninny tumble over
the leaven bowl of dough,
and upset the little beast,
who nibble the grocery list.

Passionate One

Passionate One
by Michael R. Burch

for Beth

Love of my life,
light of my morning,
arise brightly dawning,
for you are my sun.

Give me of heaven
both manna and leaven,
desirous Presence,
Passionate One.

Happiness Is

Happiness is

Flour, yeast and water
mix it well
let the leaven rise
with hands of humility
kneed the dough into bread
bake them well
bread has a crusty top.
Look at the loaf
you make so early in the morning
and be happy

Premium Member Hate

"I hate it when..." Fill in the blank
We can divine evolutionary purpose for most emotions
Fear, love, compassion, etc...
That rational thought is supposed to leaven
"I hate it when I wake up tired."
When will we grow tired of hate?

Mana
David J Walker

As we too
Fail to
Live forever
On this earth

And seek
Safe Harbor
Of new birth

A penance paid
For what
It’s worth

Regrets displayed
Abstained in dearth

A body made of leaven
Sends Mana
Down from heaven

Life’s twists and turns
  he took in stride
Preferred to see their brighter side

Until one somber day
  fate took his love away
No longer could he laugh or play

Just sat and penned her poignant verse
his cries did rise to Heaven ~
'Board winged teardrops without leaven

Love me, love me not. Doves flew; kneeled.
Breaths of flaunting daisies yield.
Across the narrow Irish loch, a leaven
Bed of grassy emerald field;
Bequeath, abreast
the mountain crest,
Beneath daunting, darken gray of heaven.
Love me, Love me not, seven doves shield.

Christ

To my Children and Everyone who needs Christ

CHRIST was and is the great I AM!
Heaven is our home, and Christ is our Leaven.
Run into his arms, Run to the Son!
I AM sent him. They are one!
Savior, Savior don't forget me, please forgive me!
Teacher teach me to pray. You surely are the CHRIST

Poetic Expression

To leaven my load
I express in code
The pain that I feel
Still, nobody knows

To pass the time
I make it rhyme
Still, no one hears
The bottom line

It sounds so clear
To my, partial ears
Still others twist
The words they hear

It’s hard to heal
And learn to deal
When no one sees
The part that’s real

Clean
Serene
All eggs spawned
Like pure love-bond
Share, care, live, let live
Fish, frogs, snails, snakes, worms new

Filled with faith, hope, love, trust,
Meet, mate; love, hate, lust;
Like the heaven
No leaven!
Amber!
Pure!

Barcelona

A city of pristine architecture,
From the grand art to the miniature,
Beauty on parade,
Not a charade,
A doorway to relics,
A home of theatrics,
A host of grand events,
Chauffeuring everyone to pleasurable moments,
A city under the kiss of heaven,
An abode with you is a creative leaven.

Happenstance? No, not never.
No. I beg to differ.
It was not coinsedence.
It was divine providence.
Our encounter was born in heaven.
Like bread infused with leaven,
We quickly formed a bond,
And two became one.
Good or bad weather,
We are together forever
May but death alone part us
When we but turn to dust.

Premium Member Choosing And Losing

There is a game of life,
And there's a game of play.
Best of seven need not
Rise as smooth as leaven.

Not every 'all-out attack'
Results in a come-back.
To some, every game is 'a must-win'.
For others, now and then is ok.

Some of us play "to win".
Others play 'not to lose".

We must play by the rules.
And rule # 1 is to choose.

Beauty stands summering beneath the heavens;
stimulate the imagination muses.
Leaves sing a lullaby, scents nature leaven.
Seeds bound teeming with life, of a thousand hues.

Dreams hued in summer of perfect love embrace.
A wink of amorous scene of warmth of grace
gold sunshine rays towards endless horizon.
Poetic rich color spun by Barbizon.

I thought to pick a beautiful rose,
place her in a vase, in my kitchen to
scently pose – eloquent reminder
of Nature’s bounty and beauty.
Thought then, of my mere custodial
duty:

So I left her in her garden care --
in dewy air to lick and waft. Arise
Sun’s morning showcase beams,
teams of saintly gleams their leaven,
when tempted to doubt guides and a Heaven.
