mist strata of drab
musings, cover the blue sky
peddle in sunshine

deepest sorrow
layer
after
layer
in crust
after
crust
screams
and
cries
all
seeking
redemption.
"You're born to write", my soul says…
Do I believe her, or doubt!
Writing unwraps deepest thoughts,
Layers of my heart!
Fog drapes
Cascading sheet
Suspended damp blanket
Drapes emerald pines' limbs with wet
Layers
From the purest source
Through all the layers and senses
Comes forth our spirit
As a distorted image
Trying to be who it is
the mountains unfold
my dreams in layers of hills
where the beauty spills

flaky layers rise high
golden sunrise in my hands

Fluffy Lovely Always Nap-worthy Nest of Enveloping Layers
Me
Softness Heavenly Entering Ecstasy Toasty Seductive Sleep
The layers shed, all to behold an unwittingly demeanor, a shadow in the light, unknown to the beknown, calm the bestowed storm beneath...
turkish coffee is so grand
settled grounds of desert sand
fills a warm space
taste full of grace
time flavored layers expand.
I have a yearning
To break out of confinement
The tortured inside
The painful layers of fiery hate
Breakout of prison, be freed

Layers
Of
Velvet
Entwined with
Lace in a Valentine
I gave to you
Now brings back
Every moment we
Shared
Since the day that I met you
Of muse
Comes vision
Blind to the mind
Buried 'neath layers of

Monocrostic (Birthday of April Jane Elico)
cold snap
door closes off the warmth
bundled in layers
door opens, Winter coat comes off
the warmth and savior, of church
More twists in some tales,
peak and trough, allied suspense,
layers of intrigue,
which kept one fixed to the page,
gotcha end plot a bonus.
Its cold and dark
It hurts all the time
It wouldn't be a crime if someone stole it
So i peel the layers of hate
What ever happened to fate:/
Form:
Burdened weight, cement blocks clear fate
Drowning layers of my solitude
Lifted in smile, despite my bile
Cleansed through energy I expense
sunlight warms room 'pon
a winter afternoon...

The weather in Carolina is bipolar
Freezing frigid morn eve red solar
Hardly ever sure how I want to dress
Layers work here hope for the best
Las Vegas
Three layers of clouds
On a paranormal sky of multicoloured insanity
In Las Vegas, god and devil merged
Into one identity
A poem is like
A juicy onion with
Many layers to peel
Yes, my friend, and
You shall weep,
In bitter sorrow, because
A poem has feelings, too
i’m a gas leak
in your wood house
bound to go up in flames
becoming too weak
with you a circus mouse
layers of too many games
?
this world’s full of haters ~ peel back a few layers to expose their craters
but you search for lovers ~ peel deeper we’re exposed under the covers
Olympic athletes performed nude
(Spectators back then cheered the lewd)
The judges (we're told)
Used layers of gold
To honour the most well-hung dude
