Upset Tummy
When her gastrointestinal tract
went gurglly and angrily talked back;
lamented my Maria,
"This damn diarrhea
with me flat on my back so lacks tact."...

Three New Haiku
Haiku
Notes of music
Fell into the ocean
Undulating

Haiku
Rain upon the sea
Softly lamented the loss
The conductor died.

After great sorrow
Gigantic waves crash the shore
Disharmony...

Callie Croakers was always a frogmaid, never a bride.
Her disappointment she very often would try to hide.
You have more dresses than anyone know I said.
But she lamented, none are my favorite color, which is red....

Have Lamented
Have Lamented

Many times have lamented
If she would have consented
Love of mine was only one
Together have had much fun
I would not become demented.

I Shed Blood On Your Decorated Tomb

Wildflower in bloom.

Mercurial swoon.

Under mid summer's moon.

Lunar contrast.

On earth toned skin.

Painted us azure.

As souls stirred within.

We owned it.

If only for that moment.

Lamented in time.

As life follows no design....

neglected
        once lamented
now graffiti
          scrawled:
faded respectability
of
   yesteryear and
outdated
            taste:
now.
     litter-strewn,
dusty
        cold & musty
sepia like

Shouting your name does the trick
Echoing when the heart is empty
I lamented all the signs
Really ruining my fate.

Dropped repugnantly colonial
It spreads and hates changes.

Some remnants of nobility
Sort of pinnacle
All corrupted spelling in my prayer
Alhamdulillah....

Shrill Echoes
As early frost kissed window glass

And autumn shed her scant remains,

Her glory done, her time now past

Bare trees lined the country lanes,

The woods were quiet, nothing stirred

Filled it seemed with expectation,

The shrill echo of a bird

Lamented autumn's resignation....

Fluke
Swift as air, the jet took me back.....
to my roots.
The pre-Thanksgiving fares to Philly sucked me in,
like mom's Hoover vacuum.
And Lady Luck, her diamonds catching the rays of a thousand moonlit nights,
held my hand,
when I stayed with an old childhood friend.
Together we walked the fields near the murky river,
and lamented what never became....

Fiery Fireworks

      Fiery fireworks
      started on your betrayal.
      Heart and mind got burnt.

       Got devastated.
       Passion cried, love lamented
       Desire drowned, shattered.

     Strong silent soul watched.
     Fireworks got extinguished.
     Time was best healer.

I couldn't look back,
the sound still haunts me
and the shadows cast across the street
against the trees
made by the devil's light.

I couldn't look back,
the heat still scorched me
and bright sad faces
lamented the scene
made by the devil's light.

I couldn't look back;
sadness surrounded me,
the devil burned me
as I ran from my pain
and forgot to take my heart....

The Helium Balloons
The helium balloons adhere,
Now partially deflated,
To the ceiling, rating not a glance,
Though they had been awaited.

Of course, there was excitement
When at first they were presented.
Their absence surely would have been
Acknowledged and lamented.

But two weeks later, they are stuck,
Now finished with fulfilling
Their purpose, so they cling to life,
Their insides slowly spilling....

They DETAIN me but I won't COMPLAIN
Time MOVES slow lamented BLUES
Don't CRY for me as I fashioned a SIGH
To FREE my soul to God as he comforts ME
So DEEP are my feelings for those who WEEP
The DEATH of those who breathed their final BREATH
I KNOW my place in life and time will SHOW
To RENDER my service to Him and then SURRENDER

Premium Member Detours
Gallivanting about with doubt
You could fly to natural high
Hades called, saw you fall, like
Bottomless bucket unfulfilled.

Life became blue/black strife
Stripped your will to climb
From valley to hill, until
Your empty soul lamented thirst.

Such fog like state of zero visibility
You heard of fountain of faith, and
Felt grace ushering you forth, one
Snowy evening of warmth you knew.

Every Fear
Somewhere in the darkness I fear
something not quite natural draws near
is it an untimely death
stealing away my last breath
or is it something that's already here

No one can tell me what it is and why
I fear it when I know everyone will someday die
only I still shudder at the very thought
that I will end in pain although I had fought
and down I lay in dirt and moss, going out in lamented sigh...

Premium Member Best Spa For a Sparrow
That’s the best spa of all the sparrow said.
She hopped right in, with her cousin Fred.
Fred hopped back out, It’s too hot! He lamented.
She loved a margarita bath, she felt fermented.

The mud facial on her face soon slid down.
It rolled into the bubbles, which now turned brown.
My drink! Yelled the lady of the house, she was not happy.
“No big deal!” tweeted out my sparrow friend, we called her Sappy....

Premium Member And Broken Back Broken Neck
Angels and guides tried their best to console Icarus
Why did I not listen to my father? He lamented.
Determined to hang onto his sorrow and sadness
It is time to stop belittling yourself, his head angel said.
One mistake; this is how we learn; no big deal.
But why do I have to learn the hard way with broken bones?
And broken back and broken neck, his negative side added.
His positive side threw up her hands....
