Wildflower

Wildflower in bloom.

Mercurial swoon.

Under mid summer's moon.

Lunar contrast.

On earth toned skin.

Painted us azure.

As souls stirred within.

We owned it.

If only for that moment.

Lamented in time.

As life follows no design.
