If We Could Be
Oh, If we could be
What wishes are,
We could be pipe dreams,
Lacing halos for stars.
I wish I may!
I wish I might!
Going to keep on wishing,
Until I get it right.

OH HAT GAMES THEY PLAY...

What strange webs they weave
Like black widows lacing
Silk dreams of ecstasy

Wooing victims with deceit
Netted in a wicked mesh
Of woven lies

Waging war
In the name of God and Peace:

Bullets and bombs exploding
in orgasmic death....

Premium Member Eyes Pierced By Flakes
Eyes, tainted by snow flakes of damp memoirs; spiky frostbites chafing her irises. Drained lids quiver on a funeral trail lacing sharp ache; iced droplets pierced like flakes. Andrea Dietrich's Contest LEAF, FEATHER, SHELL or FLAKE 8/4/2014: Form: Tetractys Theme: Flakes

Evening Sky
Oh!
Sunset glowed orange!
I wish you had been here to see
the beauty of its rendering...
Mixed red and gold, resting on
Amethyst pillow clouds with
Satin ribbons lacing the sky.
Soon, quietly disappearing into the
Evening calm.
I wish you had been here to see
The glorious sky painting God given.

Independence Day
That morning
you had asked
your maid
why she wasn't
smiling happily.
Was it not
Independence Day?

She had paused
in her meticulous
dusting of you
priceless paintings.
She had looked
at you;
dead eyes
set in a
blank face.

Bewilderment
lacing her voice,
she had asked,
"Independence day?
What are we
free from today?"...

Bittersweet
Don't look over the glass peaks
Blue and white china breaking
Hold my hand, hold my hand
Crinkle of brow, wet eyes
Like a spying globe, except it hurts
Because I am afraid of everything
I'm tied down under water to this violin
And even though I can see the sun lacing above me
This is still too hard, and my wings dissolve
I smile at you even though it burns...

Dreaming Inside a Dream Ii
I dreamed

of snow...glistening

lacing the air,

falling without pattern,

whiting out

a dreary day of

gray trees and

forlorn brown grass.

The snow rested on my face,

raised to the sky.

The snow tickled my eye lids,

reminding me again

of you,

and the last snow-fall we shared.

You brush away my tears, smiling

from the heavens....

April, you fetch flowers of spring to rise;
Lacing in verdant green and fruit to reap.
Gardens seed bloom, whist bees and butterflies
Saunter by tippling passion nectar deep.
Renew daytime length increase leaden skies
Whist nighttime length decreasing; fitful sleep.

Seasonal Merry-Go-Round
As summer grieves and bids it must go,
Fall burst forth in magnificent show,
Dressing the trees in crimson hued gowns,
‘Til breezes thieve and take their leaves down,
Lacing tapestries over the ground,
While fainter becomes the robin’s sound,
Waiting for winter to come around,
With a blanket of white, so profound,
That melts away to a spring surround,
Of vibrant colors that now abound!...

Premium Member Can You Relate To the Late Fifties- -
whatever happened to Juicy Fruit gum™
He doesn’t come around here anymore;

And where is the Beaver, cause Jerry Mathers
Does matter;

And what’s a Royal Crown soda;
As it behooves us to be older;

Stop lacing our arteries with fat and sugar cubes;
And who said my Nerf™ gun is bullet proof;

The is what I must become;
Rebirth, return to the time of the late “FIFTIES”

Untitled
When the honey kissed sun falls between air
and natures song replays.
When it highlights your skin, defines your gloss
and the purity of china veins.
A mirage that appears on the back of a breeze
suspended on the song of the birds.
High pitched, controlled, shot from the depth
each note is handled with care.
The gold nugget blinks, crimson revealed
an eye-lid restrains the majority.
It highlights your body, devours you whole
lacing your natural purity...

Premium Member April Flowers Spring
April, you fetch, rebirth
of spring to rise early,
lacing in verdant green,
spacious gardens, seed bloom,
embracing ivy seen

April, you fetch, rebirth.
compelling rich, nectar
nip, butterflies and bees
deep, actively gleaning
aromatic spring tease

April, you fetch, rebirth.
Easter, new beginning
like yellow daffodils
and magnolia blossoms
Spring brings with pleasure fills

Premium Member Caught Kissing Under the Mistletoe
Mommy, Polly, and Dolly were jolly with folly
 Brought bouts of holly and ivy
Lacing them round the doorway
 Throughout the walls and down the halls

Three trim lace stockings hung off the fireplace
 With feminine grace

 Starry-eyed Sis was kissing under the mistletoe
A glowing blush from beau's head down to his toes
 A warming sun that could melt away the snow

Poured sounds of, tickles, giggles, and whistles
From behind the door, two sisters hidden

Foot Wear
Foot wear,
The foot where,
The foot what connecting all to this world,
To dress,foot wear,
Addressing care,
The lacing made old fashion,
Replacing buckles,chains and Velcro in machines,
In rainbow colors,
Short builds to shot up,
Size to size foot wise,
A ladies pride,
Sometimes a tool provide,
A history when came in contact with cheeks,
Thrown at some heads in anger,
Get into others foot often,
Bare foot,a symbol of poverty,
Cobblers to make,
Lincoln an exception!...
