up, up and away
her tiny kite flies so high ~
frisson of delight
Date written: 05/13/2023
brisk boisterous wind
throws the joyous kite so high
caught by crescent moon
trailing twirling tail
toddler tugs the moon along
the young boy running
his kite lifts into the sky
delighted laughter
his dreams no longer earthbound
oh, the possibilities
4/2/15
a kite is flying
the master is on earth waits
between a silk thread
The fabulous red kite - broad wings, mighty,
Built to soar, beauteous sight !
Red tail forked, in rooftop flight,
Silently swoops for the fight.
tight as a kite
the sparrows are minute
lead eye
face deftness
my lover is whole and beautiful
there is no dust on her shoulders
Tailed kite
Drifting higher
Grand sight
Thrill crowd
Gather around
Peals loud
Wind blew
Tug, pull, line breaks
Shed tear

I grinned
good wind
clouds, white
red kite
fly high
blue sky
eye blink
kite shrink
winds make
string break
I sigh
goodbye
KITE
kite in keen eyes swoops
on prey with aggressive claws
on dynamic dive.

I look what words meant in dictionaries
Yet not enough to paint my verses
To dissipate in a shire where nest blown
Fly away as paper kite to a land unknown
a kite flies high
carried by the wind - -
the string snaps
for Gwendolen's contest
I'm not sure if this is a good haiku, LOL, but Deb G has helped me enormously
I must fly a kite
and lift it ever so high
And load all my cares on it.
The wind suddenly
Veers direction and down comes
My kite bringing back my cares.
He flew his kite on a strange turf
With lighting you can expect the worst
The lighting took him along
The kite’s grip got strong
Snatched him out into the universe
red kite in bloody
flight is flown by the winds
by rutland water

March winds howl~
a child's lost kite tangled
in bare branches,
its dangling tail whispering
secrets to the hungry earth.
Child without a care in the world
Ponytail held by red ribbon
Summer breeze toys with kite on string

• Long strands of red flowing in the wind
• A tall figurine dressed in red and white
• He's out in the snow
• And what do you know!
• He came out here to fly his kite
KITE
stringed bird
paper art
my hued craft flew high
played hide and seek with clouds
the child in me remembers
“on soaring collage drifts a dream”
Wavy
Flattened
Flying
To Kite
When in the sky.
Thousands
Happy eyes
Saw cut.
Hundreds of feet
Same number of high hands
Get help
On
Regret
With every help
Him
Seen plundered.
My kite’s white string drifts.
Sunlight shines through its canvas -
leaf, shell, feather. Wisp of cloud.
Up, away, lost, gone -
floating from my childhood hands.
They grasp air, clutching nothing.
The kite went left
Right – the wind blew
Silently as a thief,
unspoiled blue
welcomes a guest;
It is easy to rest
Above – inconspicuous
but to the mind’s eye,
Glorious because
an unique design.
Form:
Breaths of air raise... emotion.) classic form
departure is.. "a feeling through a line"
bright red; sky or blue.!
my first inkling of..
wide ranging
possibility's
as dad
and I
watch
you
fly....
A small blue kite was afraid to
fly high in the windy, blue sky.
His friend the gentle breeze
gave him a big, encouraging
push.
Soon, the kite was dancing
proudly above the tallest
trees in the park.
I see a kite flies
Easy, threadless in the skies,
Down, down to its doom.
One, threaded, higher does rise,
Freedom’s not just too much room.
