Jumpers, darned with wool
Trousers, patched for school;
Shoes scuffed,left unlaced
Teeth framed in metal brace;
Dripping noses and chilblains,
Scarfs and finger mitts
Ears muffled against the chill
Ffee milk solid on the sill....

Men With Bullshit Mentalities
It's so hard to teach "men" with "bullshit" mentalities
The alphabetic of spiritualities.
That does not mean to give up your hope
One should keep saying it! Simple, it's not to them
They shall keep calling you, myna, parrot, moo or so and so
Please, remember
Few are the members
Many are the numbers jumpers....

Summer
Her visit is bright!
It brings life and warmth. Butterflies, surfers, children, hikers,
and bungee jumpers celebrate her coming. Fireworks, fireflies, and balloons
of different colors in the air, are visible to see. We hope that she is here to stay, but Autumn is sure to show her the door again.

Covid Long Lines
I was called to take the covid shot
But when I got there it was hot
The lines were extremely long
Line jumpers that prolong
Long waiting tied my stomach in knots

The lines still moved extremely slow
They had to stop the overflow
By creating a new site
People flew there like a kite
The wait was so long it brought snow...

plaid announces self
variety of colors

saying blue collar

powerful in every way
plaid picks up a rake

Just like football* i am very old
so if I may be so bold
this memory I'll unfold

each day,when school was out
off to a green,hereabout-
the teams often numbered seventeen!

with our jumpers as posts,
no boots ,referee or
coaches ,you'd see

back and forth we'd be
'til tired out,and ready for tea

*you call it soccer over the pond...

Most Beautiful Christmas Poem
Christmas, a happy time of year,
A time to be with family,
To give each other presents.

The house decorated
In every room,
With a tree, tinsel,
And ornaments.

A turkey for dinner,
And Christmas Pudding,
And crackers to pull.

Christmas jumpers,
T-shirts and Santa hats.
Parties and nights out
With friends and family.

Christmas, a happy time of year.

Premium Member Summer In Uk 2013
This summer's been great
plenty of sunshine bright
best Britain's had
for a while too right

We tend to complain
if it's dull wet or cold
but 2013 we cannot
for it's a climate gold

Even now in late August
it's still pretty hot
shorts and t shirt are the gear
as boots and jumpers are not

Let's be thankful for it all
it makes you feel so tall
you really feel so good
oh give me that beach ball!

Things I Like
The smell of outside after the rain
Baggy jumpers
Books you cant put down
Making people smile
Feeling loved
Songs that relate to YOU
The smell of fresh bread
Thunderstorms
Laying in bed listening to the wind and rain
Saying what you feel and feeling what you say
When me and my sister was younger and mam giving either the bowl or spoon to lick after making the angel delight for a trifle..

Premium Member Its the Little Ones That'Ll Get Ya
Don't worry about the daddy long legs
they look scary but they're pretty harmless
they mind their own business-stay in one place..
but the ones you do have to look out for are the little ones
the jumpers and the runners-they never stay in one place
some carry bad intentions -poison in their fangs
they'll not hesitate to hop in bed with you
run all over the face of your dream
make you silently scream
turn you into a
night watchman...

A Day At the Circus
Elephants and lions,
Even seals have all been banned,
Though dogs and horses focused on
Their trainer’s crisp command.

Clowns, now lacking make-up,
Kept the audience amused
And jumpers on the trampoline
Were crazily enthused.

Trapeze artists soared above
And acrobats displayed
Such strength and balance it appeared
Of other stuff they’re made.

The circus, though it’s different
From the way it used to be,
Still provides a fun-filled outing
For both friends and family....
