On
the green,
teams often
numbered seventeen,
our jumpers placed as goal posts,
such after-school football now a long-lost dream.

Congratulations Brian! I always had to get home to milk cows and feed the horses, cows, pigs and chickens after school so I never got to experience anything like this. I do love football though..got to see plenty of high school games playing in the band! :-) aahhh those good ole days! Great poem Brian! Trudy
