three stalks celery
a delicious red apple,
half a cucumber,
a little ginger,
just juice it

~ Since I never knew,
I thought I'd share this with you ~
No larger than olives or grapes
They're orange and oval in shape
They grow on a tree
And O! Mercy me!
Tart flavors from kumquats escape!
I’ve got a couple of juicy melons
They are dangling so temptingly
Round with plump firm flesh
Shame they aren’t ready for picking yet!
Now now what were you thinking guys …
It’s the first year I’ve grown them in my greenhouse!

I sit here in the hot day's sun,
water droplets running off my skin.
As I grow bigger I get sweeter,
one day soon I will be picked.
Off to market I will go,
then taken home to be enjoyed.
Oh watermelon is my name,
sweet and juicy sink your pearly teeth in.
Juicy autumn fruit
on heavy mossy branches
Seasonal plum crop
Cultivated with passion
Earthly glee in september
A lovely aroma from a meadow with wild roses
The sweetness of the summer sparkles the electrified air
Warm and thirsty ~ the refreshing taste of watermelon
