lost in pensive thought
fire burns all mendacity,
 self-hatred hooked me.
Rid the hateful piercing cries,
intercept thoughts I despise...

Mccain Was Well Kept
McCain Was Well Kept

McCain was well kept  even when he slept;
Then we knew God his life would intercept;
To heaven bring;
Hear angels sing;
Trump stayed in White House totally inept.

Intercept Being Inept
Intercept Being Inept

What we all did do was crept and crept,
And then pretty soon we would intercept;
Some might miss,
When in Congress;
Each person who is ignorant and inept.

Amazing how I keep coming up with
all of my poems. TV news are the
big instigators.

Brother Mine

The pain so graven
Man betraying man
Emotions fly to intercept
And save a failing heart
Not important, not essential
Try; try to push the knowing down
            to places not visited.
To forgive? To overlook, to salvage..
Essential for survival.
But not forgotten....

Unit 8 Chapter Nine
Discect the cetacean on the table
Intercept the axon if you are able
Detect the carcass beneath the table
Protect the deadbeats, as they are unable.

Seven Senators Stood Singing (p)salms!
Shrimp stuffed pie crust often alarms!
consideration only harms!

Boris Yeltzin with upraised Arms!...

Me, the Bullet
You said you dodged a bullet.
If I was the bullet,
Then I shot myself.
And barely grazed you.
If I was the bullet
Then I killed myself.
And left you with a scar.
Alternatively,
If I am the bullet,
Then I shot myself.
And you got hurt trying
To intercept pain that was not
Yours to take....

Death
Word who brings fear,
Strike with no mention,
Even if we pay attention,
He will bring the tears;

Up or down , we can go
On the top or below,
He will come , he will show,
Did he tells no one knows;

All the bibles can be kept,
Like a sword , an intercept
Not a soul will be left,
No one can skip death....

Trump Bewildered
*
Donald Trump has declined to say
What his threats are worth on EBay
Iran did not buy
Trump had a good cry
And now has the Devil to pay

*(Trump can't figure out why the
"wonderful aircraft" Americans deployed to
defeat the British during the Revolutionary
War failed to intercept Iranian missiles)...

Regret
Rigors domicile unkempt

That deepening ford, my vestige of days left,
all bravery's surmount am in this tread,
do I of destitute regard remove adept,
Oh, soul of my wounds keeping, not regret ~

The deity of this weeping . . . thy inept!...

O-X-O
In the center, I put down an O,
But intercept your turn,
For I cannot afford to
Have the X in an incorrect
Box. So to the top-right
Corner goes my X,
Once yours, now mine.
But look, it is my turn
Once more, so to the top-
Middle goes my O, beginning
A winning line. But, oh, I
Am tired and feel not like
Finishing this game. By
Default I win, for I have
More connecting O's while
You sulk with a single X....

Recipe For a Poem
Recipe for a poem.
A recipe for a poem
Paper or computer of any kind.
Pen or keyboard which ever you have.
A good thought of mind. Which may intercept by some silly word you might
forget.
A very little skill.Which will improve if the mind does not go blank.
A good closing if you needs to go out quickly.
And not say goodbye because you will write once more.
Go to work and write.
O, Don't forgot to spell words right might help....

Friend Zone
On a game field of the greenest grass
We’d touch, I’d run, and you’d pass.
I’d gain ground and you’d intercept.
Every game, we leapt and swept
Into the end zone to a climatic end;
Nothing left to defend or offend,
Too many touchdowns to surmount,
No personal injuries or fouls to recount.
Then, offsides, false start, taunting?
Your penalty flags left me wanting,
Challenging every yellow thong thrown;
Then ejected, exiled to the Friend Zone!...

Premium Member Emptiness
I am full
Of emptiness
I long for longing
Crave contentment

The insensate pain
Of intangible touch
Indecipherable ciphers
Choreographed madness

Craggy comfort
Of blunt condolence
The decorum of anarchy
Deserted crowds, social solitude
Miles given to intercept steps

At the dawn of abundance
I see only
bones of ghosts
Whose meager admonishment
I forgot to unlearn

Unredeemed
And unrepentant
I am in love
With loneliness.

Free From Fears
Freeze them in winters age
and find the new colors of spring
maturing into a summer’s sage
and see autumn trees shedding
leaves into the carcass of a skin.

Free from fears and criticism
And other people’s insecure opinion.

Before nature’s manipulation begins
Sorting the seasons into neat closets,
We mend our ways of scarlet sins,
Leave heavy loads and all regrets
Regardless of how the flaws intercept.

Begin within the rhythm to pray
free at last from cares of today....
