Saxon Violins:

The beast with two backs,
Rarely attacks,
As it is preoccupied,
With whom it interacts.

The man with two heads,
(One of them red),
Is a far bigger threat,
Until one head is dead.

Premium Member The Cycle Of Life

Life is eternal
Destination unknown
Comes into physical form
Is dormant
Becomes active
Interacts with all of creation
Has an impact on evolution
Leaves physical form
Life is eternal
Destinations unknown
A possible reincarnation
Comes into physical form
Etc …

The Lighthouse - Lighthouse Rhopalic Verse Contest

The coastal lighthouses, intervening
in many dangerous undercurrents.
it's beacon interacts vigorously
as vessel realigns, manoeuvring
past many obstacles undistinguished
by any obvious visionary.
So sailing faultlessly, continuing
home without treacherous impediments

A flash of lightning
creates shades of trembling light
interacts with shearing pain,
as a fleeting moment
cemented within a grievous mind
a wrench of nostalgia,
a reminder of you
on that fateful day,
where in the unsung meadow
you lay in disheveled jade.

Premium Member Slideshow

There’s a beautiful slideshow in the sky
As the clouds move slowly, passing by
Flirting on and off, shines the sun
Illuminating pictures, one by one
Snowcapped mountains shining bright
With a backdrop of blue, glistening white
It’s a beautiful slideshow to watch today
As light interacts with views, on my way

Premium Member Man vs the Cold, Hard Facts

A man fights his best against the cold hard facts:
Physics, chemistry, biology and time.
With these opponents he gamely interacts.
Toiling, with love and dreams, any peak he'd climb.
Watching sports, it's the underdog that attracts.
So, choose man with his aspirations, sublime.
Each victory we must cheer and celebrate,
Knowing as we do, the cold hard facts await.

Premium Member Mixed-Up Vegetables

Listen to poem:
I open a bag of
mixed-up vegetables
their chatter is deafening
I ask them, “What’s the ruckus?
“It’s the day of reckoning!”

I open a box of
Hamburger Helper
hoping to quench veggies’ yelping
As H.H. interacts with
mixed up vegetables
he laments, “I can do no helping!”

It’s hard to decide what to make for dinner
when surrounded by conflict and strife
After thinking it through the only sure winner
Is to leave dinner plans to my wife

“What’s for dinner, dear?”

A Cat Stood On the Wall

A cat stood on the wall to law me:
the pain of unknown haunts him, I think;
The view interacts the long, soft green
The witness outside the door, must be;

I watch his golden semblance, and I know;
His forfrightened eyes opens mine, Dead;
The relative moment unblurred my visions and complies the questions on his heachts.

On the grasp of his extinct, he scratchs the floor with rapid commun sagacity.
And there's no more doubts on it, the caos is gone, again, and the cat runs away.
