Quant Causing Complaint
Quant Causing Complaint

Could be caused by something quant;
That had turned into quite a complaint,
Further inspected;
Became connected;
When they would say I was such a saint.

Inventor
Inventor. ( Pleiades)

Ideas come real

Intensions escalate

Into apprehension

Intense euphoria

Increase endorphins as

Invention finalised

Inspected accepted.

Only With Qualified Person
Only With Qualified Person

Only with qualified person should consult,
When we will discover that the final result;
Had inspected,
And di-sected;
With wrong person did prove to be difficult.

The Young Philosopher
I listen calmly to him
Slowly nudging him on
As he expounds on philosophy
Hidden gems are revealed
Polished and inspected
This one owns a gold mine
This one has hidden gems
I love to see them exposed
That's why am silently probing...

A consignment on foreign soil, arrogated from house and home
Introduction in the blindness of night, freedom lost and spirit alone
Evil now renders its hand, survival consumes the affected
Divergent from fear and pain, escape becomes inspected

Difluoroethane
The neat shelf of being,
sordid rows of books,
categories,
yet,
the inspected self
is blown away,
books flung by
destructive hands...
fearing decay.

Shall I know,
Shall I seek,
till my dying day?

Divine orchestra,
seeing boddhisatva,
how do you deal,
judging your nirvana?...

The Song of Cooking
The sword of hunger
snips the squeak
of the intestine,
which is like a cry
of a new born baby,
from my stomach.

Chop! Chop!
All chefs!
To cook! To cook!
You must go!

Cutlery jumps,
stoves burn,
veggies fear.

I open the cupboard
with the strength
of an elephant
as I inspected
what will be on the menu,
and flipped the recipe book
like a pastor
who just lost his verse....

Sepia photo
of my grandparents,
circa 1919.
Framed by a skeleton
of timbers.
He,a strapping,giant
of a man
with saw in hand.
Worn, bib overalls,
carpenters belt.
She, a comely whisper,
cradling my father.
Summer dress billowing.
No power tools then.
Each board inspected,
cut by hand, firmly nailed,
to craft the masterpiece
of a house, that would become,
my grandparents home...

Over
Over acted,
Over budgeted
Over corrected
Over debated.

Over educated,
Over funded.
Over gripped.

Over heated,
Over inspected,
Over Jammed,
Over kicked.

Over looked,
Over mentioned,
Over needed,
Over ordered,
Over powered.

Over quenched.
Over rated,
Over stitched,
Over tipped.

Over utilised,
Over ventilated,
Over written.

Over xeroxed,
Over yahoo-ed,
Over zealous....

Premium Member On Solving All of the World's Problems
An idea once came to me from out of the blue
One that would solve all my problems, and the worlds' too

I turned it around in my mind; inspected it from every angle
Had to make sure that no loose ends did dangle

I drew up sketches, blueprints, one after the other
But I crumbled each one up; none satisfied my druthers

'Till at last I came up with one, perfect in every detail
Only when I submitted it, the competition's had already set sail...

Confusion Sets
Maybe we don’t have the answers
Maybe we don’t have the time
Everything happens for a reason
So take life one step at a time

While sitting here at home thinking of them
You keep knocking your fist on the table
Why would you continue to think of it?
With having no intention to win?

Sometimes it’s hard to deal with these things
And your life when you feel so rejected
But only remember this one simple rule
Your life’s decisions are always inspected...

Not-Quite-Happy Returns
A package comes, you open it
And, though it seems to match
The order that you placed, there is
A big or little catch.

It doesn’t fit or isn’t quite
The item you expected
Or maybe there’s a problem
In the way it was inspected.

You print a label, wrap it up
And rapidly return it.
If there’s a lesson there, it isn’t
Hard for you to learn it:

The purchases we make online,
Though easy, cheap and quick,
Unlike the ones in person,
Often do not seem to stick....

A Poet's Wares
Poetry is thought distilled;
You squeeze it and condense it.
When intent has been fulfilled,
You’re ready to dispense it.

Many poems don’t get that far;
They stick with their creator,
Unreleased into the world
Or maybe saved for later.

Those that make it take a chance
That after they’re inspected,
They will be forgotten fast
Or, even worse, rejected.

Poets choose their words with care
And offer up their wares
In hopes that somewhere in their realm,
There’s somebody who cares....

Size Matters
She was a gorgeous girl
I met years ago.
at Black's Beach near San Diego.
It's a nude beach
so I wasn't wearing clothes.
She sat down next to me
then disrobed.
Her body was exquisite
I couldn't help but stare.
She knew I was checking her out but didn't seem to care.
We began talking about sex
she mentioned her foot fetish
thought it important I knew
Then she inspected my package
And commented sounding disappointed
I guess eight inches will have to do.

YUCK

I know we are supposed to love them
all creatures great and small

I know God had a reason
when he created those that crawl

even those that creep and flit
are part of a master plan

filling every earthly niche
in air, in water, on land

but Lord in your mighty scheme
please tell me in what mood

as you perused your work
and saw that it was good

inspected every nook and cranny
touched every leaf and twig

prompted you without a glance
to invent the pesky earwig....
