Not-Quite-Happy Returns

A package comes, you open it And, though it seems to match The order that you placed, there is A big or little catch. It doesn’t fit or isn’t quite The item you expected Or maybe there’s a problem In the way it was inspected. You print a label, wrap it up And rapidly return it. If there’s a lesson there, it isn’t Hard for you to learn it: The purchases we make online, Though easy, cheap and quick, Unlike the ones in person, Often do not seem to stick.

Yup. What you see (online) isn't always what you get (on the doorstep). lol. ~ Santa

Ah, so true, Ilene. I can't imagine ordering outer clothing on-line. And shoes? They'd never fit. And still, occasionally, I do it, knowing they'll probably need to be returned.

Hi ilene, Happy Holidays, I've recently bought 4 pairs of shoes from this company online and the total was around $35 for all of them including shipping. SO, :) lol , luckily and pleasantly surprisingly. They all fit fairly well and the quality wasn't top shelf, but not bad. So, hard to get too excited when they're that cheap. The company name is Temu.

Oh yes Ilene, I think we have all found out the hard way. However I found one lovely company in China, I bought two items the same size, one fitted and one was way too small, I Emailed them to let them know. Please give the one too small to a friend or charity, we will refund your money, AND THEY DID !!!. Loved your poem.
