Trafficked

A consignment on foreign soil, arrogated from house and home
Introduction in the blindness of night, freedom lost and spirit alone
Evil now renders its hand, survival consumes the affected
Divergent from fear and pain, escape becomes inspected

- Survival can be a struggle ... but often it's not about surviving ... it's about living ... - A great winning poem, congratulations Mark :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

Your vivid imagery and emotion depicts the plight of trafficked victims where the will to survive is severely tested. Potent poetry, Mark. Congratulations for your fine win in Silent One's contest.. ~Susan
