Bear Idea

Bears do something that is top rate,
I just have to make my stomach inflate,
after Holidays,
in bed will stay,
for a couple of months to hibernate.

have mixied up hambone with beans
add cabbage with greens

PNEUMATIC EMPHATIC

There’s a lady in Kuala Lumpur
Likes to wear a tight fitting jumper
And to make the men smile
She’ll inflate her profile

Love's a blooming gift;
     joys of growing love

Whined a perky young songstress from Miami
"I think I am deserving of that Grammy!
I do not sound especially great
But my lungs, they surely do inflate
Frankly, no one sings 'Candy Man' like Sammy."

Bubbling

Bubbling

As I peeked inside a drum
Of beer brewed by mum
I espied exploding bubble
Like lips exuding warble!

There's something in yeast
(That inflate us to a Beast)
Fomenting guts to replete
Then at last dignity delete!

Moment Is Now

Moment is now, not yesterday or tomorrow. Enjoy this moment don't look back in sorrow Live life to the full, yet be careful of the 'morrow Remember be kind... don't inflate your ego.
Penned 17/04/2017 I chose the word Moment.

Two Hearts Intertwined

Two hearts intertwined, yet divided by time.
If I could, I would take both our hearts hold them together as they beat forever....
watch as they mate, watch as they inflate, pulsate...
one word could never reiterate the state of what I would love to create

My Own Proverb

My own proverb..... Do not search your happiness in the hell. Do not inflate your soul with sins. Do not believe in short term pleasure. Do not harm your inner heart with faults Ravi Sathasivam / Sri Lanka All rights are reserved

I woke up this morning, feeling great.
I thought to myself, I'll self-inflate,
and proceeded to exponentiate.
I sure was the man.

Just as I was hitting my rhythm,
in a gesture of antagonism,
sheriff John Brown took my logarithm.
I was back where I began.

Habits

Money, Greed, and lust
The sins that target us
Cheating, Lying, Stealing
Bad habits that were given
Or better yet obtained
Egos inflate the brain
Since you can not change
Your behavior can't be tamed
Your jailed if you let your bad habits and addictions control your brain

Puff Up, Inflate

Puff Up, Inflate

One kind of pigeon,
one kind of snake,
as far as I know,
puff up, inflate.
There’s the bullfrog,
of course, and
peacocks have tails
so I tell my wife
what she already knows:
Once I become
whoever I am
then will
I love you.

Ode To Bobby

I never wanted to be famous,
I only wanted to be great

I never promised you an answer
  even now as questions inflate

I traveled each and every highway
as time kept changing once again

I never told you it was magic
—just a wish blowing in the wind

Cosmos

free state
   need resuscitate
   can’t hesitate
   to evaluate
   then elaborate
   specious debate
   too late
   dare dedicate
   stilling hate
   egos inflate
   do perpetuate
   inevitable fate
   armageddon date
   will not wait
   lest we consecrate
   civil complaint

DISSIPATE when you flicker on and off I cannot touch you… your essence when I put my fingers into the flames of your heart will they burn or dissipate like opiates and nauseous capsules of hate.. that inflate my dying ego Conversations with a like-minded poet © Kim van Breda—4 December 2015

Extra Space

Folding chairs and blow-up beds
Are mostly used my guests,
Providing extra space for bodies’
Temporary rests.

If company is coming,
It’s a plus if you can stash
Accommodations for some friends
Who need a place to crash.

There’s always room for others
Who are willing, truth be told,
To plop their bones on seats or beds
That will inflate or fold.

Words To Twelve Steps

some words shouldn't be said
like wishing someone dead
and all those words of hate
will make hate inflate
there's too much anger
for this head banger
back when Quiet Riot was big
I was partying like a pig
never mind using your fist
cross out fighting from the list
hand shakes and greetings
at twelve steps meeting
it cleared my head some
and gave me freedom

HERS

SWEET MOLLY SHE SET OUT THE BAIT
ORDERED A DRINK FOR THE WAIT
LIFTED HER SKIRT
FANNED SCENTED FLIRT
WHILE WATCHING THEIR EGOS INFLATE

HIS

Young Buster was full of himself
a bruiser devoid of all stealth
he measured his worth
by its length and its girth
had it bronzed and put on a shelf

Flow Flow Thou Vacuous Word

Apple orange grapes
Murder plunder rapes
All and sundry things
Empty vessel rings
Sunset evening dawn
Easy leasy loan
Tortuous treacherous path
Fresh and fragrant bath
Crazy curious crowd
Town talks aloud
Dizzy merry-go-round
Folks tradition-bound
Catchy cute couplet
Astute images inflate
APOSTROPHIC INTERLUDE:
Flow !flow! thou vacuous word
Thou are not so absurd
As man's ineptitude

Liquid

Liquid

As the liquid completes his body
The mind calms to a halt
Knowing the calamity of the world has stopped
And what his soul defines as peace
Starts to set in
While trying to inflate the emptyness that lies within
If only for a short quivering space in time
The harshness and the unrighteous of his journey
Fades to a distant reality
Which is all he needs to give him that taste of peace in his life again
