except for the roller coaster, these are all for me fourth of July memories. those were great times of our youth. I guess I do not get excited any more like in the old days, Milt. It's just me and Joe and we do not even watch fireworks. how I loved the reunions with family and those potato salads , etc!! Great nostalgic poem.

Ah, yes, Andrea. My mom made the best potato salad on the planet. A Fourth of July picnic was really something special back then. Today, I seldom go to the local parade, but I can sometimes see the fireworks from my house. Have a wonderful summer, Andrea.

Isn't it cool how just the mention of the word summer brings instant images of great times and great memories. When I think of summer I think of baseball, swimming and no school. lol I enjoyed your images as well, Milt.

Thanks, Daniel. So, I'll look forward to your haiku with baseball, swimming, and, definitely, no school! Have a wonderful week ahead.

Everyone enjoying the delights summer brings, I can't wait to start living a normal life again, but for the moment we have those beautiful memories. Hope your day is going well Milton. Tom

Thanks, Tom. It is, and I hope you have a wonderful week ahead. Yes, until we get beyond this isolation, I suppose we can always enjoy those memories.
